Hans Raj College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BSc (Hons) and BCom, BCom (Hons), admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET-PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was subject to merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. However, the university still accepts ECA quota admissions.
Along with the regular undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Hansraj College also offers various short-term programmes and several language courses to students. The tuition fee for the BSc course is INR 540 - INR 45,000. The eligibility criteria to apply for the BSc courses is Class 12 with a minimum of a certain aggregate and the accepted entrance exam is CUET.
