B.Sc. (Hons.) in Anthropology - Batch of 2026
3.6
Faculty is good, so is the infrastructure but the feels is a bit high.
Placements: The placement chances are very low with a Bachelor's degree but trying once and again may lead to good opportunities. However, some courses such as B.Com (Hons) have higher chances of placement than other Bachelor courses. Internships are a good way to get placements too.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is actually way better than most of the colleges of DU. All kind of sports are encouraged with an indoor badminton court available too. The playground is huge too with all kinds of sports equipment available and a basketball court and archery.
Faculty: The faculty is top-notch. However, just like most of the colleges usually professors won't be spoon-feeding you. They are highly qualified and in my subject, they are among the best faculty members that are available throughout India. If one is considering anthropology then this is the place.

Really good infrastructure.
Placements: Hansraj College overall placements are quite nice, but the placements in this course were quite average. In this course, you need higher education. In our college, there was a dedicated society called the placement cell, where you can enhance your skills and upskill your future.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available for boys, and the girls' hostel is under construction and will be available in the next batches. The course is very extensive and informative. You get interactive classes with your professors, and there are many activities like presentations, debates, etc.
Faculty: There are exams held two times a year for semesters. Throughout the course, there can be class tests, assessment exams, and presentations, research papers, and dissertations happening throughout the semester. The faculty is not very nice, at least in my course. But I would recommend this college because you will enjoy it here a lot.

Absolutely satisfied with the crowd and exposure here.
Placements: In the University of Delhi, if we SEE placements, it goes the basket of commerce stream more than any other streams. When it comes to anthropology, it deals much with research works. So there are some placement offers after your Masters only. But you can get placed by adding extra skills to your CV.
Infrastructure: Faculty are quite good here. All are well qualified and experienced. There are labs, study tours, libraries, and many facilities available in the department. The hostel of Hansraj College is good, but now it will be going for construction in the next batch. The food quality is good. The fee is quite high as compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are good, qualified, and also knowledgeable. Some teachers are really very good at explaining and making you understand. Semester examinations are not too hard; questions are directly asked. If you pay attention in the classroom, then it's very easy. Passing percentage is about 34–35%.
Other: At the University of Delhi, B.Sc. Anthropology is only offered at Hansraj College. Campus is full of crowds. You can get a good exposure.

Great faculty, good placements, and a not-so-great hostel.
Placements: Hansraj College has its own placement cell, which brings recruiting companies to the college. This year, the highest package is 36.6 LPA, and the average package is approximately 8 LPA. Students with a GPA of 8 or higher are preferred, and most placements are for B.Com (Hons) students. For Anthropology, one of our seniors gets a package of 13 LPA this year.
Infrastructure: For Anthropology, one has to take DSC classes in the Department of Anthropology at the university campus, while all other classes like GE, VAC, AEC, and SEC take place in the college. The infrastructure is overall good for both the department and the college. The hostel infrastructure is good but not great. One has to share a room with a roommate, and admission to the hostel is solely based on CUET merit. Hostel seniors are friendly and supportive. The quality of food fluctuates between good and average. The hostel also features a playground and a canteen at the back.
Faculty: Professors in the Anthropology department are very helpful and friendly. They not only teach anthropology but also focus on the holistic development of students. Practical and fieldwork components are usually given priority because they help students understand the real-world applications of anthropology. Semester exams are not overly tough if someone attends all classes, but the exams tend to be lengthy.
Other: My batch strength is 40. It is better if all classes are held in the college because one has to travel 5 to 10 minutes to reach the department for some classes.

Really good infrastructure and Crowd is amazing .
Placements: Generally in Anthropology placements are nil but some people get placements after doing Masters in forensic Science and package around 5 to 6 lacs. Getting internship is easy if you are dedicated towards them. Placements in other courses like B.Com and Computer Science are very good in Hansrah around 10 to 12 lacs .
Infrastructure: In Anthropology department facilities are good. All rooms have air conditions and Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are well furnished and labs are outstanding. When you enter in labs you feel like wow. Hansraj College is very beautiful and it has all facilities and sports.
Faculty: Teachers have great knowledge about their subjects. Some are too much dedicated while some are fine. In college you have to study on your own mostly. Most of the teachers come to class give lectures and go they do not give too much attention to students Exam paper is not very hard you can easily clear it by studying 2 to 3 days.

Great exposure, a good combination of courses, and beautiful infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students got placed, depending on the course and skills they have. INR 22 LPA is the highest, the average is INR 15 LPA, and the lowest is INR 10 LPA. KPMG, Brain and Co., and Deloitte are the top recruiters. Almost all students used to get internships. The top roles offered are those of forensic analysts.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and everything is good. The library has enough space for students, and its ambience is just great. The Wi-Fi in the library works properly. Regarding the labs, they are done in a good manner and have all the things needed for the course.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified, and they help students reach their full potential. Exams are difficult, but students with good writing skills can pass them. Passing percentage is also good. Students who attend the class regularly have an edge over other students because they can understand all the topics and perform well in exams.

It's the best college on the north campus, and it doesn't disappoint in any way.
Placements: It's difficult for an undergraduate to get placed. There are not many placements in science streams. After a master's degree, placements are good. In commerce streams, placements are great. I would give 4 out of 5 for placements in our college. B.Com. (Hons.) students get placed.
Infrastructure: It has one of the best infrastructures at Delhi University. We have a great Wi-Fi facility. The library is the best part of college. Air conditioners are always on in the summer. Washrooms are good. Classrooms are huge. We have separate departments for our subjects, like an anthropology department.
Faculty: Teachers are smart and helpful. They are well qualified. Teachers basically help students in every way during working hours. They are very knowledgeable and hardworking. The course curriculum is relevant, and students work hard. It makes them ready for industrial work. Semester exams are moderate.

Our college has a good college life and better infrastructure.
Placements: In our college, almost 70% of the passing students get admitted to prestigious institutions in India and abroad. SAI, AIIMS, and WHO, like organisations and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Home Ministry, and HRD Ministry, provide internships. One can also participate in various internships through the college circuit. Almost all willing students have the opportunity for internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has separate classrooms for our course in an ambiance away from the din and bustle. Hansraj College's hostel food is always praised for being vegetarian only. There are basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, and badminton indoor court, international level shooting range, kabaddi, Kho-Kho, chess, and carrom. The library is laden with books of all genres and disciplines. Wi-Fi, journals, and newspapers are available.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and communicable. This course is relevant but only a B.Sc. degree would get placements. Poor attendance leads to poor marks. Otherwise, semester exams are manageable. Almost 30-40% is the passing percentage.
Other: This course helps you to develop on a personal level as well as at a community level. Students in this course have connectivity with seniors because of the location of the department. More internships and more fieldwork will help us improve a lot. There are no such textbooks. One has to rely on lectures and prepare answers on that basis only.

To calculate the best four consider 3 science subjects and one other subject in which you have better score add them all and divide by total number of marks and multiple by 100%. You will get best four percentage.
