Q:   How can I get admission in IIIT Agartala BTech?
A: 

IIIT Agartala admissions are based on entrance exam. Candidates need to start by applying for JEE Main. After appearing for the entrance exam, candidates need to participate in JoSAA/ CSAB Counselling. JoSAA releases JEE Main cutoff for IIIT Agartala BTech admission. 

Candidates scoring equal or above cutoff, are alloted seat. Once the shortlisted candidate has been allotted seat in the institute, they need to register and report physically at the institute. They need to register at IIIT Agartala portal and upload all the specified documents.

Growing institute with strong placements and NIT Agartala campus benefits.
Placements: IIIT Agartala has shown promising placement results recently. Around 85%-90% of students from our course got placed. The highest package is 60 LPA. The average package is 18.33 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Inframarket, and LinkedIn, offering both technical and managerial roles. Nearly 70% of students got internships, mainly in LinkedIn, Amazon, Inframarket, and a few startups. The top roles offered include software development engineer (SDE), business analyst, and data engineer.
Infrastructure: Since IIIT Agartala is functioning from NIT Agartala's campus, we have access to all its infrastructure. The academic buildings have Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, modern labs, and a well-stocked central library. The hostels are well-maintained with Wi-Fi access (2GB/day), water filters, laundry machines, and clean washrooms. There are 5 messes, including first-year mess, south, north, veg, and girls' mess, with decent food quality. Campus also has a medical center, 600-acre green surroundings, a sports complex, gym, and canteens.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced and mostly from reputed institutes like NITs, IIITs, and IITs. They are supportive and often help beyond class hours. The curriculum is updated with industry-relevant subjects such as AI/ML, Cloud, Full Sack Development, and Data Science. Semester exams are moderate difficult and focused on concepts, not wrote memorization. Most students clear exams without any backlog due to regular assignments and quizzes that keep us on track.
Other: Considering the placement outcome, infrastructure access (via NIT Agartala), and the exposure, it is a good return on investment compared to many other private colleges. I chose CSE at IIIT Agartala because of its emerging reputation and the mentorship of NIT Agartala. The best parts of the course include project-based learning, hackathon participation, and early industry exposure. I wish the institute had its dedicated campus soon, but the current arrangement still offers great opportunities. The location is peaceful, and though remote, it's well-connected by train and flight (Agartala Airport nearby). Scholarships are available for eligible students via NSP and institute-specific schemes.

Review of Indian institute of information technology.
Placements: 80% to 90% of students get placed from this college every year. The highest package is 45 LPA, the average package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Google, Amazon, Flipkart, PhonePe, Paytm, TCS, Infosys, etc. Almost all students get internships from my college, but those who are not studying anything do not receive any kind of scholarship.
Infrastructure: Buildings that are already constructed in the college are fine, but much more construction work is yet to be completed. Mess food is okay; it's not excellent, but you can manage with it. In the hostel, there are two B.Ed rooms for two students, and attached toilets and bathrooms are not available. No single rooms are provided. Medical, sports, and other game facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful and very well-educated, also very good in nature, not like the 'khadoos' type. For semester exams, you can pass if you go to class regularly and listen to the lessons; then you can pass if you study only one night before the exam. Not that much okay, but it may be possible that you can get a job after completing this college course.
Other: I got this in the last round of CSAB, and I have no other option to choose, that's why I chose this course. This course is not bad; you can get better jobs. Events, fests, that is the only thing which makes any college different from another college. In this college, events are not very enjoyable, but ab kya hi kre.

Something about IIIT Agartala.
Placements: I am in my first year, so I don't know much about it. But in my counselling time, I researched our college and found out that a student got a 1.15 crore package. And at that time, our institute was showing 22 lacs as an average package.
Infrastructure: Our IIITA runs on the NIT Agartala campus. So we have access to whatever is present on the NITA campus. We have here in labs, classrooms, hostels, libraries, etc. We have medical facilities, and we have good sports as well. Mess food is not good in the first year.
Faculty: All the teachers teaching students at IIIT Agartala are from NIT Agartala since NITA is the mentor institute of IIIT Agartala. The curriculum, the syllabus and all systems of IIIT Agartala are those of NIT Agartala. Semester exams are tough enough.
Other: I wanted to pursue my career in the computer science and engineering fields, so I took this branch here. Events here are Moksha, EDM Night and many more.

Good college for placements.
Placements: Our college provides excellent placement opportunities. In 2022 the highest international package was 1.15 crores per annum and the highest domestic package was 45 LPA. Median package was 10.5 LPA. In 2022 100% of the students got placed. The top recruiting companies are AI palette, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, Indiamart, ITC etc.
Infrastructure: Permanent campus of IIIT Agartala is still under construction. Currently all IIIT Agartala students are alloted hostels in NIT Agartala and classes are also same for first year. From second year there is seperate building for IIIT Agartala classes. All facilities are same as of NIT Agartala. Sports complex, Hostels, Campus etc. Are same for both.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced. They teach very professionally. The course curriculum is industry updated, which is reflected in the placements. The exams are of moderate difficult. There are total 8 semesters in 4 years. And a mid term and aa end term in each semester.

Review of IIIT Agartala - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The first batch of IIIT Agartala will be passed out in 2022. Since IIIT Agartala doesn't have its own campus, its classes are conducted in NIT Agartala and also placements. So, IIIT Agartala students will get campus placements from NIT Agartala. The average salary package offered in NIT Agartala is around 4 LPA-5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Authorities of our college promised that they would provide Wi-Fi facility within 30 days after the start of college. It has been 18 months, but Wi-Fi has not been provided. Classrooms have very old tables, and benches are short, and the infrastructure of the classrooms is below average. However, the infrastructure of labs and library is good, and I will give a rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars for it. The hostel is new and good, and I will rate it wilth 5 stars out of 5 stars. The quality of the food served will not be good for students who come from Northern states like UP, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, etc. The rice is the main food for the Eastern region. Moreover, vegetables are not very fresh, and they are available at high rates compared to the Northern region, so the mess and food facilities are below average.
Faculty: Teachers here are not very much helpful at all, and you can expect help only from seniors. Though there are qualified teachers, the number of those teachers available is low, i.e., there is a maximum of only 2 good teachers per branch. The course curriculum is a bit outdated, and you need to put your efforts to learn new things.
Other: This college is good because even at a rank of 40,000, you will get to study at IIIT-A, CSE, while at a rank of 15,000, you will study at NIT-A, CSE.

Indian Institute of Information Technology is a very good college.
Placements: In our college, there is a high percentage of placements. Almost 60% of the students got placed successfully in the year 2018. It is a very good college where placements are very good. The highest salary package offered was of 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was of 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities provided are very good, and I like them. The hostel is very hygienic and beautiful. Facilities like 24 hours water, electricity, sports and many more are provided.
Faculty: In our college, all the teachers are well mannered and well-disciplined and are having great knowledge in the engineering sector. We all are very happy with such type of teachers in our college as they are well qualified and are having the highest degrees in their subject.
