NIT Arunachal Pradesh Admission 2026: Cutoff, Fees, Eligibility & Application

NIT Arunachal Pradesh is one of the renowned institutes of the country offering programmes in the fields of Engineering and Technology. NIT Arunachal Pradesh does not offer direct admission. Aspirants need to have a JEE Main rank for BTech, GATE for M.Tech and IIT JAM for admission in MSc programmes. The institute conducts a written test and interview round for admission in PhD course.

The application fees for JEE Main is written below

• INR 1,000 for Male unreserved, OBC, EWS category candidates
• INR 800 for Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category candidates
• INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category candidates

GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Arunachal Pradesh M.Tech course must secure a rank between 353 and 438 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. Aspirants need to pass Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 75% aggregate to apply for BTech at NIT Arunachal Pradesh. However, it is not enough. Candidates must also have a good JEE Main rank to get a seat in the BTech programme.

Aspirants must pass BSc in specific discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA (55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ ST/ PwD) to apply for MSc at NIT Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates must also have IIT JAM rank for admission in MSc.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh application process varies as per the course selected by the students. Students seeking admission to any of the offered programmes at the institute must fulfil the eligibility criteria for the selected course.
