Review of IIIT Lucknow - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: Placements are good. Good companies visit the college for placements like Google, Zomato, DE Shaw, etc. Students who are good at studying get placements easily. In college, the highest package is 29.85 LPA, and the lowest package is around 26 LPA. Our college has a good environment for studying.
Infrastructure: Our college does not have a good infrastructure. The Wi-Fi connection is good and working fine. Mess food is good as compared to other colleges. Sports facilities are not that good in our college. We have a gym which has a good number of equipment, and anyone can go to the gym.
Faculty: Our college has excellent academic coursework because our branch CS has no other subject irrelevant to our branch. We studied subjects like DBMS in our 1st semester. Our college does not conduct many classes, and in a day, we have to attend only 3 to 4 lectures. Exams are easy.

Top tier in placements and coding culture.
Placements: Very good placement. Reason for our placements is our coding culture and updated syllabus. Our college average placement is around 30 LPA, which is good. Many top product-based companies visited our college like Google. Many placements are obtained from off-campus. So you need to work hard to obtain a good placement in this job market.
Infrastructure: A little bit of satisfaction in terms of hostel and infrastructure. For our batch, the hostel was given outside the college. So we need to travel daily. A bus was provided. Temporary hostel is not so good (no Wi-Fi). Hostel is not so clean. There are many insects and pests, including rats. But this is only for the first semester, so if you deal with it for some time (3-4 months), after you shift to college hostel, you will be okay. College hostel is relatively clean and has good Wi-Fi connection. Washing machines are provided.
Faculty: For our batch, we have college 6 days a week. Syllabus is updated. You will learn a good amount of coding in your first year itself. Our college is strict in terms of studies with regular exams. All the branches have the same syllabus and faculty for the first 2 years, and next 2 years also we have almost the same, excluding one or two subjects.

A good college for placement with a best coding culture.
Placements: In IIIT Lucknow, the placement percentage for all branches is 100% for B.Tech students. The highest package offered was 62 LPA, and the minimum package was 12 LPA. The average package is approximately 30 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, and ICICI Bank. Approximately 60% of students from the third year got internships this year, mostly with top companies like Infotech, Infosys, and Google.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is in developing condition. The college has sufficient Wi-Fi speed, approximately 400 Mbps. There are also labs available. As students are living in combined rooms, if they feel any disturbance, they can go to the lab or library. Classrooms are good, with a bench strength of up to 200 students. The food in the mess is not too good but okay. The canteen is open during the day and night until 2 AM. Medical facilities are not available at the moment. For sports, there is a football ground, and the cricket ground is in maintenance condition.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified, as it is an IIIT college. They are experienced, with most of the faculty members having come from IIIT Allahabad. The course is relevant and is based on subjects that are helpful for interviews and industry. Semester exams are not very difficult, as most of the questions are from class illustrations or based on those concepts. That is why the passing percentage is about 95%.
Other: I am in the Computer Science department, as Computer Science has a well-defined scope, which is why I chose it. Events and fests are less developed in this college, as it is a newly constructed college, so I think they should be improved.

Placements are good. Mess is good. But hostels are like a hospital.
Placements: The campus placements start in the 4th year. In our 3rd year, we get internships. You can see the companies visited on the college website. The average package as of 2023 was 30.52 LPA. And the median package was 25 LPA. The highest package was 59 LPAs on campus, with 100% of students placed in 2023.
Infrastructure: Hostels for the first year are away from the campus (boys and girls are accommodated on campus), approximately 1.5 km. Mess quality is good. The menu has diverse items. The menu is made in such a way that it covers items from all the regions, from south to north.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well structured and recently built, but the campus is small compared to the other colleges. Admin Block, classrooms, and labs are air-conditioned. The laboratories are available 24/7. Wi-Fi is available at every corner of the college with a not-too-good speed. The food served in the mess is bearable, but the canteen is the worst.

It is good for placements but not for college life.
Placements: Our college provides good placements, many students are placed. The average salary package offered is 30 LPA and the median salary package offered is 25 LPA. Around 60% of the students get internships from top global teach companies. About 100% of students are placed and the top roles offered were Sides.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and recently built, but the campus is small comapred to other college. Admin block, classrooms, labs, mess are air-conditioned. The classroom has smart boards for interactive learning, laboratories are available 24/7, Wi-Fi is available at every corners with a good internet speed. The food is served in the mess is bearable, there is a small canteen. Coming to sports facilities there is small gym,2 badminton courts, indoor games including table tennis.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to the course only. We are not taught Physics Chemistry Maths and other core engineering subjects it's updated with current teach-related subjects only. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. Exams here are quite good comapred to other colleges.
Other: Many fests including Technological, cultural, and entrepreneurial are conducted.

It is one of the best colleges in India.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Our college is well-known for its high salary packages for the students in those companies which are tied up with the institute. Students grabbed very good salary packages. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 12 LPA - 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has good environment. Our college is fully well-designed and looks modern. They provide all the necessary facilities. A giant library is available in our college. Our college has a computer lab. The hostel facility is available in our college. They provide single and double sharing rooms. The hostel rooms are equipped with air-conditioners. The hostel has non-air-conditioned rooms.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified. They have completed their master's degrees. They have been educated at IITs. They are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant to upcoming job life, where we learn about computer applications, programming languages, databases, and many more, which will help us with logical thinking for projects and skill development.
Other: Many events and fests are held in our college. They celebrate festivals. Our college has many clubs like social, cultural, sports, environmental, and academic clubs. Extracurricular activities are held in our college.

Our college is included in the top 5 IITs in India.
Placements: Our college provides good placements because all branches are related to technology. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA. The average salary package offered is 26.07 LPA. Off-campus placements aren't involved, but if they are included, the average salary package would be 40 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our hostel has 1, 2, 6, and 12-seater rooms. Although 1 and 2-seater rooms are fewer in number and living in 6 and 12-seater rooms is a little bit good and fun because you can interact with your friends and make a bond, which is pretty necessary to live these 4 years to the fullest. Labs are available in our college for studying.
Faculty: The course curriculum is different from most government universities in India. They taught programming languages from the 1st year which is uncommon in other colleges in India. They conduct competitive programming classes by the CP wing from the 1st semester.
Other: The main grand fest of our college is the Equinox which is held every year. Our college has many clubs. Our college organises games. Our college has clubs like the technical club.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are decent in our college. Wi-Fi is available at every corner. Hostel rooms are good and the food served in the mess is good. There is a small canteen and it's open all night. Many food items are available. There are 2 badminton courts in this college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and highly qualified. They deal only with important computer subjects starting from the first year itself. Semester exams are moderate. If students study regularly then they can pass good marks.

Yes you will get any admission in computer engineering. For getting admission in engineering it doesn't not matter whether you have computer subject in class 12th or not . For getting admission in engineering your JEE advance or JEE main rank matters.
