IIIT Bhagalpur MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIIT Bhagalpur MTech is two years course offered in a full-time mode. The PG-level programme is offered across multiple specialisations, including Electric Vehicle Technology, Microwave and Communication Systems, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Signal Processing & Machine Learning, etc. MTech at IIIT Bhagalpur is offered in regular and part-time mode. Further, there is also an online MTech course for working professionals, that lasts for three years.
IIIT Bhagalpur MTech admission to the flagship MTech course is completely entrance-based. Interested candidates are required to apply and appear for GATE. After qualifying for the exam, they are required to undergo the CCMT counselling rounds for final seat allotment. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech). To get into M.Tech programme in IIIT Bhagalpur candidates have to appear for the GATE exam. The GATE exam is usually conducted in February every year.

No, IIIT Bhagalpur is not a tier 1 College. Tier 1 Colleges are ususally colleges with exceptional academic reputations, state of the infrastructure, cutting-edge research, & also high placement packages.
