Yes, GATE 2024 dates are out for admission to M.Tech programme at IIIT Bhagalpur. As the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has started the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 registration on Aug 30. GATE application form 2024 is available online at the exam official website. Aspirants can visit the website to apply. The selection to IIIT Bhagalpur M.Tech programme is based on the candidate’s GATE exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the CCMT through which they are allotted a seat. The seat allotment also depends on the college cutoff and a candidate’s preference for that course and college. GATE registrations usually begin in the month of August. 

MTech programme offered by IIIT Bhagalpur isn't free of cost. Candidates are required to pay the tuition fee amount of  INR 2 Lacs at the end of the admission procedure.These fees are excluded of other fees that are payable only at the time of admission. Other than the programme fee candidates have to pay a application fee for the GATE exam while registering for the exam. The applicatipn fees are : Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates need to pay INR 900 while all other category candidates will have to pay INR 1800 as application fees. However, IIIT Bhagalpur has their own scholarship scheme and Government scheme for the students to help them with their education.

Students with Bachelor's Degree with minimum 60 percent marks and valid GATE score are eligibile for the MTech course at IIIT Bhagalpur. They should register for the exam through the GATE official website. 

IIT Bhagalpur has been ranked 28th by NIRF among the top IIITs of India. Also IIIT Bhagalpur has a good placement record. The highest package and average package offered during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2023 stood at INR 46 LPA and INR 15.61 LPA, respectively. Earlier, the highest package and average package offered during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2022 stood at INR 46 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively. The placement rate recorded during IIIT Bhagalpur placements 2022 was 98.85%.
