The selection to IIIT Bhagalpur M.Tech programme is based on the candidate’s GATE exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the CCMT through which they are allotted a seat. Candidates are required to pay the tuition fee amount of  INR 2 Lacs at the end of the admission procedure.These fees are excluded of other fees that are payable only at the time of admission. If the students find this fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the college. Some of the scholarships provided by the college is Central Sector Scholarship for College and University Students (MHRD, Govt. of India), Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Students Belonging to Minority Communities.
