This college is for students who want to explore and have the college atmosphere at the same time.
Placements: There are many companies approaching the college, and most of the students are getting placed, except for the one with a very low GPA. Students with low CGPA will also get some jobs in the off-campus selection. Overall, the campus is good and supports various internships.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is good and okay, and the Wi-Fi is also good. But the internet is difficult to reach in some places. First year students can't stay in the campus hostel. They should stay outside of the campus. The buses will come every day to pick them up. Coming to the infrastructure, it is basic to good in my opinion. I can say that it is not that bad.
Faculty: The faculty members on campus are very good at teaching and are open to any doubts. They will definitely make you understand the course. Coming to the course, you will find extra time to learn other subjects. Compared to the other colleges here, you will study most of the subjects in advance. There is one mid semester examination and one final semester examination in the curriculum.
Other: Events are celebrated, which include every culture. It will also be fun at the campus events. The campus has a low strength compared to the other colleges. For exploring purposes, you will find a lot of places to explore within a radius of 200 to 400 km, like you will find a lot of vacation places, and the atmosphere will also be great.

Good placements, average faculty, good infrastructure, but really bad Wi-Fi.
Placements: Placements were near 100% for the previous batches. The first batch of my course is yet to pass out so the placement states are not yet available but I assume it will be around 10–12 LPA average. A lot of companies come for recruitment for the CS branches; I think the highest package went for 56 LPA.
Infrastructure: First-year students stay outside campus. The facilities are decent but do not be fooled by the 1 gbps Wi-Fi claims, which are absolutely false. Games and OTT are banned on the campus and hostel Wi-Fi so VPNs are your best friend. The Wi-Fi is dead slow and keeps disconnecting often. The food is manageable.
Faculty: All the faculty are really qualified. Everyone has doctorates and some even have patents. But that doesn't mean they know how to teach. There are only a handful of competent professors. Go to class for the attendance, not to learn. Learn on your own. The curriculum is good; there are no unnecessary subjects like chemistry and stuff. There are exams almost every month and it gets really hectic. The exams are decently difficult.
Other: There are events happening often so it is not that boring if you are into that sort of stuff and participate in it. Seminars happen on a regular basis, even though most of the first-year students have no use for listening to them.

IIIT Kottayam pros and cons.
Placements: I'm a member of the placement cell and as the previous placement year passed, it was great news that we got almost 100 percent placements, with an average package of INR 15 LPA and the highest package of INR 58 LPA. So yes, placement-wise, you will get enough opportunities just for internships; they don't allow you to go in between semesters.
Infrastructure: All the hostels and facilities are newly built so you can expect good quality but there is just a shortage of amenities, such as different courts for multiple sports and all the rest is good. The Wi-Fi is super fast and practically, there is no power shortage. There is a saying that if power cuts, count till 5 and power will be back before that.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch and approachable; you should definitely contact them and maintain a good relationship with them for better opportunities. The course curriculum is the best and as per IIT Hyderabad standards, there are also so many informative sessions and hands-on activities going on throughout the year so yes, it is good.
Other: Connectivity is good for the city's daily buses; there is no complaining of ragging and generally, an open environment and weather are really something you can just imagine.

Review of IIIT Kottayam - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed. Many big tech companies like Goldman Sachs, Medianet, Jio, TCS, Nissan, Deloitte, etc., come to our college for placements. It depends upon the student's knowledge to grab the opportunity. Deloitte, Capgemini and Cognizant are the major recruiters. The highest package offered is around 42 LPA, and the average package is 10.35 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our campus has really nice infrastructure, and everything is properly built. We have fully air-conditioned labs and digital classrooms. We have all the facilities available here in our hostel from Wi-Fi, 24-hour electricity to geysers and washing machines. The quality of mess food is good, and the student mess committee is allowed to select the menu for the week. We have very good medical and sports facilities on our campus.
Faculty: All the faculty members are PhD holders and knowledgeable, and they provide good knowledge of the subject. The curriculum is fully updated and relevant as per the industry standards. We get our hands-on coding from the very first day of college. The semester exams are balanced, and you will handle the pressure if you are qualified for this course.
Other: The course is really updated to current standards. Our seniors got internship opportunities from very second year. We have our own tech fest as well as cultural fest. The campus crowd is really good, and you will love it here. The campus is really beautiful, and we have easy connectivity to the nearby city. We have extracurricular activities like intra-college sports competitions.

It is the best IIIT in newly formed ones and good for research.
Placements: Being the 2nd batch of ECE. Students do not have placements yet, seniors have to pass out. In 2021, around 88% of students are placed. As CS-oriented colleges, many students are placed in MNC's. The average salary package offered is 10.43 LPA, while the highest salary pacakge offered is 42 LPA. Many students in the 2nd year get internships opportunities, they have to maintain a good CGPA to be an intern. Our college has many clubs which promote the overall growth of a student such as a tech club, wild beats a cultural, pixel club, trendies, etc.
Infrastructure: It has fully equipped computer laboratories with a high-speed LAN of 1 Gbps bandwidth. Medical facilities are in college with 24X7 doctors. Mess food is average, and canteen is also available outside campus, many shops are there. Classes are taught with projectors and a whiteboard. Sports are available such as cricket, soccer, indoor. E-sports are also conducted.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly knowledgeable and doctorate. Many are research scholars. Our curriculum is well designed for the modern tech industry with many new subjects like ML, AI. Electronics also have a good scope with ample research opportunities. Researching gives students good criteria to get into top-ranked abroad universities. Semester exams difficulty depends on if they study every day without lag and complete their syllabus, so it is easy to get 9 CGPA.
Other: There are no scholarships provided here from college as it is under the PPP model. Events are conducted. The music club is there for recreation. Outings are given daily. But, students have to be back on time. Most students here are from Andhra Pradesh, UP areas. Students would find ample Telugu crowd. Coding culture is at its best with a technical club called Beta Labs which has partnered with coding-based online schools.

A college worth enough to explore and work with different faculty members.
Placements: In my course of Electronics and Communication Engineering, the number of students placed were 10 out of 55 so far, and the process still goes on. The highest package offered so far is 58 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 7 LPA. The average remains approximately 11 LPA. The top recruiting company for my course is NVIDIA. The percentage of students getting internships from my course is 40%, and they are working off-campus in different MNCs, etc. Roles include computer science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cyber security, and electronics and communication engineering.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by our college are more than satisfactory since it provides students with Wi-Fi, different labs for different courses depending upon the course, and lots of classrooms. Our college has a separate library with numerous books related to our course structure, and it also provides an e-library via which we can access online books required for companies. The quality of food is average, neither good nor bad. Sports are also available. Medical facilities are provided by our college 24/7.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive and well educated. They have a very good teaching background and are knowledgeable in their domains. No, the course that I’m pursuing is not fully relevant to be industry-ready since the college is in the evolving phase and still requires lots of machines for electronics and communication technologies to make the students aware of practical knowledge. So it still needs lots of years to grow in this domain. The difficulty level is medium to hard, and the passing GPA is 5.
Other: I chose this course because it has a lot of scope at the industry level, and the best thing about my course is that the subjects are interconnected with each other. Practical knowledge is required in my field and this needs to be improved. Multiple events are conducted in my college, and one of the biggest techfests is Apoorv Fest. Extracurricular activities include sports; every year, the sports festival called Pradhva is held. Scholarships are provided to SC/ST students, and the campus crowd is moderate to high. The campus is purely surrounded by greenery, trees, and forest.
