Review of NIT Andhra Pradesh - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Last year, the placement percentage was around 86%. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the minimum package is 8 LPA. Mostly, around 70% of students get internships in their companies depending upon the respective branch. Mostly, my branch students mainly concentrate on the GATE and government exams, and people with computer skills shift to software jobs.

Infrastructure: The library is very nice and new. It contains all books, different publications, and newspapers. The Wi-Fi connection is extraordinary. The quality of the food is above average. The canteen food is good and somewhat expensive. The hygiene is good. Sports and games tournaments are conducted in different NITs every year. Mother Theresa Health Center is available at the college, but all facilities are not provided.

Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. Mostly, the college runs on adhoc faculty. From this academic year, the course curriculum has changed which is the R24 course curriculum. In semester exams, the pass percentage depends upon the department-wise. Mostly, papers are moderate and tough, but not that much easy.

Other: Every year two fests are conducted, one is technical and the other is cultural. The campus crowd is not that much because every year intake is 480 only. Scholarships are provided by the central government and respective the state government based on their prevailing norms.

It has a good infrastructure and is value for money.

Placements: Placements in NIT Andhra Pradesh are pretty decent for the electrical branch. The highest package is 18 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 7.5 LPA. The percentage of students who get placed is decreasing yearly in campus placements. Top recruiting companies like Amazon and TCS visit the college for placements. Internships are available for 3rd-year students, and they can do summer internships in whatever topic they are interested in, and the college will support them.

Infrastructure: For every course, there will be a smart board in the class, so that faculty members can explain things easily. There are a total of 10 labs in our department. For every semester, students have to perform two labs. In the library, there is a separate section for our course and also for others. Wi-Fi is provided in the library. The menu of mess is good. The quality of the food is not bad. In hostels, there are many facilities like geysers, free Wi-Fi, tables and chairs but there is no washing machines. In sports, all games are available and they will conduct tournaments frequently.

Faculty: Faculty members here are highly qualified and many of them completed their M.Tech from IITs. They will always encourage students to participate in expos and field trips to gain more knowledge. The courses here are very relevant and prepare students to perform practical applications in laboratories, etc. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study and not many students fail in exams.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics. Here in our college, the department provides many facilities for students. For every semester, there will be a fest to celebrate and showcase our talent. Connectivity with seniors is good. Scholarships are available like NSP, etc. There are extracurricular activities like field trips, industrial tours, etc.

It has a nice campus, and it will be more beautiful in the upcoming years.

Placements: I think in the previous year, 70-75% of students got placed. The average package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The highest package is 44 LPA in the computer science and engineering department. In my branch, the average package is 6.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice. There are two laboratories on campus. Electrical engineering labs have almost all the equipment. There is AC in the lab, and it also has a good network connection. Some classrooms do not have AC, but the remaining classrooms have AC. There is a good network connection in both the hostels and classrooms. There is one library which is full of books. We can issue books through registration or by machines. The taste of the food in the canteen is very nice. Mess food is okay. There are three playgrounds.

Faculty: Almost all teachers are PhD holders from NIT or IIT. Teachers are very helpful. They are recruiting more teachers for teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it is designed according to industrial scope. Mid-semester exams and end-semester exams are held by the exam department. Internal exams are conducted by their respective departments. Sometimes exams are hard. There is a relative grading system.

Other: I chose this course because I like it and it has scope in the future. The main fest is named Vulcanzy and there are other fests like Techkriya, etc., are organised here. At night campus feels very nice. One side of the outside of campus is the village and there are price fields outside of campus.

My life at NIT Andhra Pradesh.

Placements: About 60 percent of people have been placed this year. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Amazon, Accenture, etc. Around every student got an internship in their respective course. The top roles offered for this course are software developer and associate software engineer.

Infrastructure: The facilities at our college are very good. We have a huge playground and very well-equipped laboratory facilities. We do have a huge library in our college which a capacity of 100 people. We do have separate study rooms for girls and boys as well. The food is tasty.

Faculty: In our college there are highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty who are very helpful for the students. The teaching quality is also so good that we can learn everything by just listening to classes. The course curriculum is very helpful for the students because it makes them industry-ready.

Really good teaching staff, facilities and fast developing .

Placements: Around 84% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course was 44 Lacs per annum and the average package is around 8.84 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is around 6.24 per annum. To companies here are Google, Microsoft, and TCL.

Infrastructure: Five different Wi-fis are available the students studying in NIT Andhra Pradesh in hostels, classrooms, library, and labs have all new and good equipments and lab assistants Ph.D. scholars who help us, library has large collection of books which help us in exam preparation.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified staff and has immense knowledge on their domain. The curriculum with 4 exams per sem helps students to gain knowledge. Which gives students good knowledge for industry ready. The exams in the sem are moderate to difficult. These mainly test on our thinking and problem solving abilities.

It is the best college for average students.

Placements: Placements are better compared to other colleges. The highest salary package offered in the CSE course by Amazon is 44 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the ECE course is 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college building is good. Many labs are air-conditioned. The mess has huge fans. The infrastructure of some buildings is good.

Faculty: Some teachers are good. The electrical engineering course has the best teachers. All teachers are passionate. The CSE course has 4 teachers.

Other: Our college should provide many facilities. In next three years, our college will undergo development.

Good, but needs to be improved.

Placements: The minimum CGPA needed for the placements is 7 and getting a placement doesn't depend on the grades. Packages start from 4CTC to 15 CTC for the EEE group and most people prefer IT jobs over core jobs. The college offers fewer internships compared to other NITs and that too with an IT background, there are fewer chances to get a core internship. Public sector jobs are more likely to go after Higher education and some of the few companies that offer you a management job in the core background.

Infrastructure: Faculty are good here with good knowledge and experience. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are kept very clean and feel like a workplace coming to the Wi-Fi, it may fluctuate but can get good internet in Library areas rather than in Hostels. Hostel rooms are very neat and clean compared to most NITs as they were constructed recently. Washrooms will be cleaned every day without delay except Sunday.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good and any interested people can gain more knowledge from the faculty. The course curriculum has been updated with a new syllabus that is more useful to the student. The quality and knowledge mostly depend on the student's interest. The semester examinations are quite difficult to get an average of 30 out of 50 in most of the exams. More than 5 points are needed to pass and more than 17.5 marks are needed for pass marks in final semester examination.

Other: I am interested in this course and EEE is the course which allows the experience of both hardware and software well. I wish we'll get more internships and placements in the future years.

Our college has good faculty members.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed in our college. Students who don't have any backlogs will easily get placed in our college. Our college has training and placement cell. They provide training. Our college provides internship opportunities. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides advanced equipment to ensure better knowledge of the course. Wi-Fi facility is available in every building. Classrooms are smart. They are equipped with a television so that we understand the concept easily. The food served in the hostel is not good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are from popular IITs and NITs. They have good experience. Semester exams are difficult. The exam correction is strict. It's better to study up to date. The pass percentage is 80%. The curriculum is good.

Other: I opted for this course because of its good scope for the future.
