IIIT Sri City offers a large diversity of courses to students in various fields. IIIT Sri City admissions are held on the basis of entrance tests. Students seeking course admissions must clear their previous qualifying examination and appear for any of the prescribed entrance exams such as JEE Main, NIMCET, among others. The selection process of IIIT Sri City M.Tech for Non-GATE is divided into two categories a)Non-GATE candidates with an undergraduate degree from CFTI institutes b) Non-GATE General candidates (Non-CFTI or CFTI with less than 8.0 CGPA). 

Selection process for both the categories is mentioned below:

Non GATE Candidates with an Undergraduate degree from CFTI Institutes

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 8.0 CGPA to fall under this category.
• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Coding Test and Personal Interview conducted by IIIT Sri City.

Non GATE General candidates (Non-CFTI or CFTI with less than 8.0 CGPA)

• Candidates who does not have an undergraduate degree from a CFTI Institute or the aggregate score from CFTI institute is less than 8.0 CGPA, falls under this category.
• The selection is based on the entrance test conducted by IIIT Sri City, the syllabus of this entrance test is similar to GATE Syllabus.
• After appearing for the entrance test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Coding test followed by a personal interview.
• Prior work experience will be given additional weightage in the selection process.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 22860 and closing rank was 29951. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIIT Sri City - Indian Institute of Information Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. As per all 9 rounds of the cutoff list, the cutoff ranks among the General AI category candidates varied between 24016 in the first round to 39075 in the last round. Yes, IIIT Sri City offers scholarships to students. These scholarships are provided in the form of financial assistance. Some of the scholarships provided by the college are Central Sector Scholarship of Top Class Education for SC students, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students - Scholarships, Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities, Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities, and others.

 IIIT Sri City BTech cutoff 2025 was released for various categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, admissions for BTech CSE were closed at a rank of 29046. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the last round closing rank was 40944 for the same branch. Comparing both the ranks, we can see that the competition for the General AI quota was higher.
