The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 7.2 lakh at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram. Aspirants need to pay the course fees to confirm their seat in the institute.

As per the IIITDM Kancheepuram's admission guidelines, JEE Main score is required for admission to BTech programme. There is no other way to get admission to this course. Based on a valid JEE Main rank, candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling process. Further, vacant seats are filled with CSAB counselling process. Candidates must make sure to qualify the BTech eligibility citeria: Class 12 (Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as an optional subject) with at least 75% aggregate.

IIITDM Kancheepuram offers a BTech+ M.Tech degree together as a dual degree lasting for five years in the Computer Science and Engineering. The dual degree is spread across ten semesters. The cousre curriculum of the first six semesters is similar to the regular BTech degree. The postgraduate degree subjects begin in the seventh semester. IIITDM Kancheepuram GATE cutoff 2025 has been released for admissions to various M.Tech specialisations. For the General AI category, the cutoff score ranged between 350 to 483, wherein M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence) was the toughest to get a seat in. Yes, IIITDM Kancheepuram does offer Man . Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in   (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence)that lasts for two years. Further, the institute also offers dual degrees B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineeringwhicht is a five years course offered at the UG level. Admission to the courses is subject to a valid score in teh GATE exam followed by the CCMT counselling. 

IIITDM Kancheepuram accepts some of the famous National entrance exams: JEE Mains, GATE, CEED, for admission to its offered courses. Candidates are required to first crack the above-mentioned exams and then apply for admission to the UG, PG courses. Candidates have to apply through JEE Mains and CCMT's official website.

IIITDM Kancheepuram M.Tech course seats are offered based on the GATE score. Therefore, candidates must appear for the GATE exam and acquire a valid percentile to be eligible for the CCMT counselling via which the seats are allotted. Candidates must have a BTech degree in relevant subject with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate.

The merit list for M.Tech seal allocation will be prepared based on the GATE scores. There may be some cases where two or more candidates score the same marks; in such cases, the following will be considered: - In the case of the same year's GATE qualification, preference will be given to the candidate who has scored higher GATE marks out of 100. 

IIITDM Kancheepuram CSE GATE cutoff 2025 is released based on the GATE examination, followed by the CCMT counselling process for M.Tech admissions. The cutoff range for this year, for the General AI quota, was 483 to 572. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff was 475 in the first round and 420 in the last round. IIIT Kancheepuram offers three specialisations for MDes programme, Product Design, Mechanical System Design, and, Communication System Design. Admission to these specialisations is entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in the Common Entrance Exam for Design, popularly known as CEED, conducted by  IIT Bombay. As per the Round 7 data, 50000 rank is more than enough to get into IIITDM Kancheepuram, where the cutoff ranged from 21841 to 60775 for the General AI category candidates. 

For 2022, cut off was 51087 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Smart Manufacturing course admission at IIITDM Kancheepuram. For female candidates belonging to the General category under All India quota, 70117 was the closing rank.
