The institute is progressing and offers many facilities being in its initial phases of development.

Placements: It is a new institute, and the first batch of B.Tech was graduated in 2017 itself. The average package offered was around 4 lacs per annum. I am in the first batch of M.Tech, so can't comment about the placements in M.Tech, but various reputed companies do visit the campus. The mentor institute is DAIICT, so students here have the chance of sitting for the companies and visiting there also.

Infrastructure: The college is currently running its temporary campus in Gandhinagar (Gujarat). Its permanent campus is in Vadodara, which is soon to be constructed, so temporarily it is running its courses under the buildings of GEC, Gandhinagar under block 8 and 9. The temporary institute has its library, decent classrooms, and a good Wi-Fi. The hostels are at a distance from where classes are running in PDPU premise, and are well-maintained.

Faculty: As it is an IIIT, so the course curriculum is well-planned. The faculty members over here have completed their doctorate and post-doctorate as well. The methods of teaching are excellent, and the assignments are given that test the conceptual understanding of the subject. The teachers are supportive and down to earth. The B.Tech students do have industry exposure in the form of internships in the college.

Other: The institute has various clubs of its own like dance club (MOD 5), singing club (Encore), drama club (Masquerade), art club, etc. Moreover, there is a cultural fest, technical fest, sports fest as well in the college.

Review of IIIT Vadodara - Indian Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: Placements here are good. Many companies visit the college every year and hire many candidates from all the fields of engineering and others as well. Training and placement department has been organised to look for companies which are visiting the college every year for the recruitment of students. It has been functioning properly since its inception.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and there are many classrooms and labs. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and air-cooled. The college has all the facilities like library, canteen and PCO. Overall, the college infrastructure is good. There are well-equipped labs to help and nurture the skills of the students.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified in their subjects, and most of them are PhD in their respective fields. They are very cooperative and helpful. They are available even after the class for problem-solving and other queries. The course is specifically designed to meet the standards of the industry and inculcate good skills in the students that help in their career progression.

Other: Overall the college is good.
