Good placements in FYI 25.
Placements: Hi, I am currently pursuing B.Tech from IILM University, Greater Noida. There's an honest review about the college and placements. Placement rate is about 60-70% of the students get placed through campus placements. The highest package is 16 LPA FYI.
Infrastructure: The engineering hostel or the CET hostel of our university is quite good. The only issue is that AC is not available in the CET rooms but the second hostel which is Gulmohar has all these facilities. It has proper hygiene and mess food is nice sometimes. The laundry, etc., are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and help us with projects, curriculum, and all the college activities. The teaching quality is good. The courses are somehow relevant to the branch or specialisation pursuing. Semester exams are good, and the passing criteria include passing in the mid-semester exams as well as internals.
Other: College fests happen 3-4 times a year. There's this big event named Mosaic which is the cultural fest of our college.

Placements: The total percentage of students who got placed in 2024 for placements is 70%. The highest package offered is 21 LPA, and the average package is 7.5 LPA. The lowest package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCL, Jubilant, and Biocon. Almost 90% of students get internships. The top role offered is a data analyst.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are well-equipped with air-conditioning. Smart classrooms are available. Labs are available according to all fields. Free Wi-Fi is available in all classes, and we can log in by using our roll no. The food quality of mess is good which provides 4 times meals. All sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and dedicated with PhD degrees from IITs. Their teaching style is very professional and good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us ready for industries as it teaches us all basic things like how to use any necessary equipment.
Other: I chose this course because I am not able to clear NEET and NDA examinations. I wished that there would be few subjects in each semester because each semester has a minimum of 8 subjects in each. Two events are held annually, one is IGNITE, a tech fest, which is held during April, and the other is an annual fest held during March.

Pretty good, and it’s also good for Masters.
Placements: B.Tech in biotechnology in our college is known for its specialty, and its placements are pretty average. The faculty and exams that are held are good and would help the student get into a good job. Internships are paid and non-paid, which is also good.
Infrastructure: Pretty bad, and to be honest, it’s under construction. There is no space for students to live inside the campus. Yes, there are hostels, but they are very limited. There are more students than hostel rooms. Some rooms are empty, but the hostel in-charge keeps them for VIP seats.
Faculty: The faculty is good in the biotechnology department. The teachers and staff are very polite. Of course, there are a few teachers who are a little rude, but they teach pretty well, and it helps us score good marks. There are also a few teachers who don't provide notes.

I would advise you to join this college if you are looking for B.Tech in a biotechnology field
Placements: There are 3 biotechnology sections. Around 60 students are there in one batch. There are around 180-190 students. There is no criteria for placements. The highest salary package offered is 22.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Most of the students get placed depending on their grades.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in our university. We have 2 libraries which are very big. There are 2 messes with amazing food. We have top-class labs. Our classrooms are fully furnished and equipped with smartboards and projectors. Wi-Fi is available all over campus.
Faculty: Our teachers are very highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. graduates from IITs Delhi Kanpur. The course I am doing is very beneficial in making medicines and vaccines for any disease or virus. Semester exams are not very tough. They are easy though if you study appropriately.
Other: I wasn't able to clear NEET and wasn't in the mood to drop a year, so I decided to do biotechnology. It is an engineering branch. It is a very useful course in terms of pharmaceutical companies and others.
