The infrastructure is decent and the teaching faculty is excellent.

Placements: This year's placements are going really well compared to last year. The seniors are very cooperative in helping us learn new things. Every branch is getting a decent placement average this year. Its average could be 25 to 30 LPA this year. The internships are really good.

Infrastructure: We have 2 computer labs and the hostel is good. The mess is decent. The campus is big, and there are bus facilities available to travel around the campus. There is a gymkhana and a sports complex. In the sports complex, we have a cricket ground, a football ground, etc.

Faculty: The teaching faculty in IIT Patna are from very prestigious universities, like our mechanical teacher, who is from MIT, USA. There are mid-sems and end-sems, along with quizzes going on throughout the semester. The curriculum is well planned and it is followed thoroughly.

Absolutely satisfied (worth it).

Placements: Afaik, placements are pretty good in circuit branches like CSE, AIDS, MNC, etc. Many international offers were also made to many students, and many companies like Goldman Sachs, Maang, etc. Visit regularly. As for core branches, opportunities are fewer compared to CS and all. Many people get placed in PSUs, some get placed in teaching, and others go for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA, etc. The placement percentage in my course, afaik, is 90%. More or less, if you want placement, you will get it, and if not, then you can always go for higher studies.

Infrastructure: There are separate buildings/floors for different departments, and they have Wi-Fi in all, afaik. Labs are well-equipped and maintained properly. IIT Patna has a central library, which is very beautiful and the heart of the campus; it is a round-shaped building with many floors and Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are well-furnished, and Wi-Fi is available. There are many hostels, but the hostel allotted to freshers is CV Raman. It is well-furnished, and Wi-Fi is available. Mess food is decent. There are Nescafes and a food court, along with a sports complex and gymkhana for sports.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and experienced. In our 1st semester, we have Physics, Maths, CS, and all. Tbh, the course of the first year is not that relevant to our branch because we get common classes in the first year. But from the second year, it would be pretty relevant. Exams are not that difficult if you study. Most of the students pass the exams. Overall, if you study well, you will pass easily.

Other: There are many fests like Anwesh (main fest), Infinito (sports fest), and Calesta (tech fest).

Faculty is not as good as I thought.

Placements: Almost 89% of students from our course were placed. The lowest package offered was 6 LPA, while the highest was 40 LPA. Tata Steel is one of the top recruiters for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Around 67% of students got internships from our course, with roles like managers in Tata Steel, etc.

Infrastructure: There are many labs and sufficient classrooms for all students. The college has a library, and a central library is under construction. Wi-Fi is not available for first-year students; only LAN is provided in the hostels. Hostel facilities are good, and the quality of food is also decent. Medical facilities are available 24/7.

Faculty: The faculty is good, and the teachers are somewhat helpful. They are qualified, but the experience is not as much as I expected. The course prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are quite hard, and the pass percentage is around 32%. There are good teachers and professors, but the faculty could be better.

Other: I got this course through the JEE Advanced entrance test. The crowd in our course is not as large as in CSE. Labs could be improved. There are four fests conducted on campus.

Our college provides average placements and supportive faculty members.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in this course. The remaining 20% of students opted for higher studies in renowned foreign universities. The highest salary package offered was 32 LPA. The average salary package offered was 12 LPA. Top roles are offered in IT, consulting, and core domains. Around 50% of students got internships in this course. Almost 15% of students pursue internships in Canada. A student from our batch secured the 1st rank in all India in the Tata Steel Women of Mettle program and bagged a PPO.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is available 24X7. Laboratories are well-equipped. Central library is under construction. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The internet speed is good throughout the residential and academic areas. A new hostel is under construction. Kalam Hostel is old, but the cleanliness is well-maintained. CV Raman is a recently constructed hostel that is up to the standard. The food served in the mess is average. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are available. A health center is available on campus, where special doctors visits every week. Sports are excellent. We also have a gym facility in this college.

Faculty: Our department is better. Professors are friendly and helpful. They guide us in all aspects. All teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is better. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. Since a relative grading policy is followed in our department, all students can pass with good grades. The pass percentage is 100%.

Other: Classes are conducted 15-17 hours a week, and you can get sufficient time to learn other necessary skills essential from the industrial point of view. Our campus has 500 acres of land. Three main events are conducted in an academic year. Anwesha is the cultural fest, Celesta is the techno-management fest, and Infinito is the sports fest. You can see the events on their respective social media pages. The connectivity is through Bihta Station, around 4 km from the campus. Bus services are available from Patna. Average placement record and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of IIT Patna are very impressive in last few years but for top branches like computer Science, electrical, etc. Lower branches like metallurgy, engineering Physics civil have very low average package of around 10 Lacs per annum. About 80% of the students from metallurgy department got placement last year.

Infrastructure: IIT Patna has very good infrastructure with top class facilities. Double sharing rooms are available in IIT Patna for first year students and mess food is very affordable and quality of mess food is also very good. Canteens and few shops are also present within campus.

Faculty: The course curriculum of first year students are very hectic, there is huge syllubus and lot of labs and exams on regular interval. Teaching quality is very good, professors explain each and every thing very well and also guide students towards right direction.

Placements: Placement of IIT Patna was quite impressive in last few years, average package of IIT Patna is 28 Lacs per annum and the highest package is 82 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies google, microsoft, goldman sach, etc. Almost everyone from the third year gets internship. Placement percentage of IIT Patna is approximately 90%.

Infrastructure: IIT Patna is one of the fastest growing IIT, it has a campus of 501 acres which includes three boys hostels, one girls hostel, central library, central lecture hall, workshops, sports grounds for each sport like cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. Hostels have all facilities within it like wi-fi, water cooler, etc.

Faculty: Quality teachers are present in IIT Patna, teachers have decades of experiences and have completed their degree from well known institution. Teachers are very helping in nature and courses are designed as per need of industries. Semester exams are easy and students can easily pass semester exams.

Our college is very good.

Placements: More than half of the people got placed in different sectors like management, core, finance, IT, etc. A few students got placed in our course. Our branch is research-based. Many people opt for higher studies and apply for different PSUs. A few students got jobs in the core sector with a salary package of 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Reliance, Tata Steel, etc. Almost half of the people got internships in different areas like educational institutions like IITs, industries like Tata Steel, and IT-based firms like Adobe. Top roles offered are materials engineer, product manager, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. The hostel facilities are good. Our college has classrooms, a library, Wi-Fi, etc. Wi-Fi connectivity is not good, but our computer center team repair as soon as possible.

Faculty: Our teachers are good. The teaching quality is good. They are supportive. They are well-qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. If you concentrate in class and study for 1-2 hours regularly, you can easily score very good marks in exams. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I got this course through JoSAA counseling. This course is very easy compared to other courses. Everything is good in our college.
