- For MTech: Aspirants have to fill out GATE application form via the official website of the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) (appsgate.iitd.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 2,000 and INR 1,000 for girls. Aspirants also have to apply on the institute's website for MTech course. STEP 2: IIT Patna Cutoff/ Selection

No, there is no provision of a student studying free at IIT Patna as per the official website. However, IIT Patna provides a range of Merit-Cum-Means scholarships to meritorious and needy students.
