The JEE Main registration 2026 is now open for IMS Engineering College admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The registration deadline for session 1 is Nov 27, 2025, and the exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.

If you are from commerce, UC will be a better option, but for engineering, it's not recommended.
Placements: In the mechanical branch, till now in the present batch, 3 students have been placed in Mahindra and Mahindra Tech. The highest package is 6.5L and the minimum is 3.4L. The top recruitment company is Mahindra. About 40% of students got internships in the present batch.
Infrastructure: Labs were good. The lab attendant is present along with your subject teacher to perform practicals. There is a fully air-conditioned classroom with a projector. The library was not so big but average, and it is full of your academic books. The food quality of the hostel is average, and the canteen is quite expensive.
Faculty: All the teachers are well educated and qualified and have experience for about a minimum of 7 years. The teachers were quite strict and serious at all times. The course curriculum was relevant as IMS follows the ACTU syllabus. The semester exams were very hard and sometimes the copy checking was done wrongly by the teachers.
Other: I am choosing this course because I have an interest in the mechanical branch. Mechanical is a core branch, and after some time, the crowd moves from CS, CSE, AI, and AIML to core branches.

College life at IMSEC Ghaziabad.
Placements: Placements are average in our college. I faced hardships due to the recession. But now it is covering slowly. Companies like Accenture and TCS visit our campus. In 2021, 3 students grabbed an off-campus package from Microsoft. Overall, if students work hard, they can get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Every classroom is air-conditioned. All over the campus, we have Wi-Fi access. The library is good. The food in the mess is average. Sports fests are launched. A cafeteria is also available along with a canteen.
Faculty: The college is affiliated to AKTU. Semester exams are average. Some teachers are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant but one has to study more to become industry-ready. MS students pass exams. One should not get 5 back in a year to get promoted into the next year. Teachers in the 1st year are very good. In senior years, faculty members are average.
Other: A cultural fest named Vibgyor is organised every year. Freshers and farewell parties are also organised. One can participate in various club activities and even initiate a club.

As per the placement report given by the college, the highest package till now is INR 55 Lacs per annum. That was the greatest placement of that college.
In the future, it might increase to INR 70 LPA. There is a possible chance and the placements ratio is also gradually increasing year by year.
