In 2011, the Governement of India established Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur. IIM Kashipur MBA admissions are completely entrance exam-based. Aspiring candidates must take the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) and should obtain a valid score on it. Candidates based on their CAT score will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round.
Candidates who will qualify for the Personal Interview (PI) round will be required to report to the admission cell at IIM Kashipur for document verification and fee payment to complete the admission process.

IIM Kashipur MBA admission 2025 has been conducted based on the CAT Cutoff list. Candidates qualifying both the overall CAT cutoff percentile and the sectional cutoffs will be eligible for admission. IIM Kashipur offers both merit and need-based scholarships to candidates. Fee waiver scholarships are given to students based on the performance of the qualifying exam. IIM Kashipur scholarships are provided to students under two categories, i.e., Government of India Scholarships and Institute-Sponsored Scholarships.
