IIM Mumbai MBA is a two-year postgraduate course, divided into four semesters and offered full-time. MBA at IIM Mumbai has been ranked at no. 6 under the 'Management' category by the NIRF Rankings. IIM Mumbai MBA courses are offered in two specialisations, Sustainability Management and Operations & Supply Chain Management. The minimum eligibility criteria required by the IIM Mumbai for admission to MBA courses is candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories].

Stay in hostels is not mandatory in IIM Mumbai. It's depends on you if you don't want to take hostel, then you can live outside but I think in IIM Mumbai, for some courses like PGDIE, PGDIM hostels are compulsory.
