Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Aizawl (IIMC) offers two specialisations in PG Diploma course at present. The fee structure of both the courses are mentioned below
Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (English) - INR 87,000
Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media - INR 2 L
The aforementioned fee schedule is subject to change based on the academic year and may or may not contain additional costs. The results of the entrance exam determine a candidate's admission to the course. The IIMC entrance test is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in order to grant admission to PG Diploma programmes. IIMC provides free or reduced tuition to students who are financially weak.

Placements: Recently, 75% of students got placed. The highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Prasar Bharati is the top recruiting company for our course. We will get a chance in campus placements before that we have to do a one-month internship in April to show experience in our resume.
Placements: Companies like Accenture, NDTV, Prasar Bharati, Inshorts, and more come to hire candidates for editing and other fields. Sub-editors, Copy Writers, and more are offered to candidates. The highest package was around 7 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.5 to 3 LPA. It is good.
