2)Placement in industries: like Tcs, Wipro, Cognizant and many pharmaceutical company Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Divi's Laboratories, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Cipla Limited, Aurobindo Pharma Limited and many more. In mathematics and physics domain they take for data scientist role that have very good packages.

3) You can give written exam for BARC and on passing interview you can become the scientist in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.

Once IISER result is declared, a seat allotment list is declared containing roll numbers of candidates who are allocated seats in BS-MS programmes. Candidates can check the first round allotment list on the official website of the exam tentatively by the second week of July 2026. All candidates whose roll numbers appear in the first round allotment list need to log in to their application portal to download the offer letters.

Yes, it is possible to join IISER Mohali - Indian Institute of Science Education & Research without JEE. The eligibility criteria for admission to the BS (four-year) degree program at IISER Mohali:
Candidates who have qualified Class XII (or equivalent) examination in science stream either in the year 2022 or 2023 can apply to the BS (four-year) degree program.
Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
Candidates seeking admission under the State and Central Boards (SCB) channel do not have to appear for IAT-2023.

Earlier, we had our admissions on  merit based so it was generally after our 12th results are out. But recently this system has been changed and hence a new system is introduced i.e. CUET exams. So there isn't any specific date that when forms would be out. But according to this, we can conclude that after the declaration of cuet results every college does their application forms out for admission. Hence Deen dayal upadhyay college does the same.

Yes, the institute has an Opportunity Cell that offers campus placement facilities for students. The official placement statistics are yet to be released. However, the NIRF report 2025 has been released on the official website. The report incorporates the 2024 placement details for BS MS courses. Out of 157 BSc students, 3 were placed during IISER Mohali placements 2024. Further, the median package offered to BS MS students was INR 11.4 LPA.
