NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 dates on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The session 1 exam will be conducted  from January 21 to 30. The JEE Main 2026 exam date session 2 is April 2 to 9. The JEE Main 2026 application form has been released on October 31, 2025 and the last date to apply is November 27. Candidates are advised to keep checking this page regularly for all updates related to JEE Main 2026 exam dates and schedule of other events related to the exam.

Although IIT Ropar is one of the newer IIT institutions established by the Government of India, the fact remains that admissions to the institute still remain particularly competitive among Indian students. The BTech course is often sought out by various students to receive quality technical education and to prepare them with the right set of skills. Of particular demand is the CSE branch of BTech in the various IITs across the nation. Students must prepare for their studies accordingly.

Candidates who could not qualify for the JEE Main exam can go for other courses. If BTech aspirants have missed the JEE Main, worry not they can go for the JEE Main entrance exam the next year. Follow the IIT Ropar application process mentioned below:

Step 1: Register for the JEE Main exams.

Step 2: Score well in the JEE Main exams and JEE Advanced. 

Step 3: Appear for the counselling. 

Step 4: Pay the fee at the selected and the allotted college. 

The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.
