IIT Ropar offers a two-year MSc programme in the full-time mode. The programme is offered under three specialisations. These specialisations are Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
IIT Ropar MSc admission is based on the performance in IIT JAM. The institute focuses on UG programme with a minimum marks of 55% (for the General & OBC-NCL categories). The minimum marks required in the case of SC/ST/PWD category is 50%.

Considering the IIT Ropar cutoff 2024 for JEE Advanced, the required rank should be under 1084 and 4968 for the OBC AI quota. So, 12000 is not enough rank to secure a seat at IIT Ropar.
