Steps for ISB Hyderabad Admission Process 2025
The admission process of ISB Hyderabad varies with each course. The selection is based on the score in the entrance exam. Below are the steps to get a seat in ISB Hyderabad:
Step 1: The first step for admission to every course is the application process. Candidates are required to apply online for the course.
Step 2: In the second step, candidates need to qualify for one of the required exams, among GMAT & GRE for PGP and FPM courses. The institute also accepts CAT scores for PGP in Management for Young Leaders.
Step 3: For PGP, candidates will also need to qualify GDPI round for final selection. ISB conducts its own entrance exam followed by an interview for Advanced Management Programme admission.
Step 4: Additionally, admission to Executive FPM and AMP courses is based on merit in the last qualifying exam and pre-defined eligibility.
Step 5: For final admission, shortlisted students must pay the ISB Hyderabad fee and confirm their seats.

Considered equivalent to an E-MBA, ISB Hyderabad also offers an 18-month PGPpro course to the students. The course is similar in content and rigour to an Executive MBA course globally. The content is trimmed to the needs of the profile and seniority of the class. PGPpro allows working professionals to complete a world-class course without any opportunity cost as they continue to earn while learning, thereby enabling them to apply their learnings in the workspace. According to media reports, the institute conducted its placement drive of 2023. The average package (mid-80%) offered during placements stood at INR 33.26 LPA. More than 1,500 job offers from 222 companies were made to the PGP batch of 2023.
If you want to apply for the PGP course, you have to take the GMAT/GRE exam. The institute also considers CAT score for PGP in Management for Young Leaders. You must complete graduation in any discipline along with two-year full-time work experiences to apply for the PGP course. While there is no minimum cutoff score for the GMAT/GRE exam, the range of GMAT scores that was used to shortlist students in recent years was between 600 to 780 and the range of GRE ranged from 311 to 335.

The difference is that the PGP programme is offered for professionals who have a minimum of two years of experience as a full-time employee. Yes, ISB grant tuition waivers, loans, are discounts on the fee. The same is communicated in the admission offer while scholarships are generally granted by other organisations and dependent on students' performance in the course. Additionally, the institute offers living expenses in the form of a monthly scholarship, i.e., INR 55,000 per month to PhD students along with fully furnished free accommodation (shared accommodation for unmarried students and studio for married students) on campus subject to availability. The total tuition fee for PGP is INR 34.13 Lacs as per an unofficial source. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 5,000 for R1 and INR 7,500 for R2 and R3. Re-applicants need to pay a fee of INR 2,500. Yes, Executive FPM is a three-year course offered by the institute. Admission to the Executive-FPM is merit-based. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree to fulfil the minimum eligibility. An MBA or business-focused master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must have a minimum of eight years of professional work experience to be eligible. All applicants shortlisted for the course are required to go through an interview round with the admission committee before being able to get the offer. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential with a strong interest in pursuing academic research. Candidates who are seeking admission to this must build an application file with the following:

- Two letters of recommendation

PGP is the popular programme of ISB Hyderabad. As per media reports, 394 companies offered 1,206 job offers to the 2024 batch students. The total count of students placed was above 850.
