The PGPMAX is the only EMBA equivalent course from India to be ranked in the Global Top 50 in The FT EMBA 2022 Ranking. Post Graduate Programme in Management for Family Business (PGP MFAB) is a 15-month PGP MFAB course which is designed to equip family business leaders with a specific skill set to enhance their competencies and condition them to capitalise on opportunities and challenges. Candidates who have completed a UG degree or an equivalent are eligible to apply for the PGP MFAB course. The candidate should be a member of a family business intending to carry it forward. Admission to PGP MFAB is based on performance in Business Admission Test (BAT) followed by PI round. The institute also considers the academic performance of the candidates for final selection. The entire course duration has two terms of international Immersion. The first international immersion is at the world-renowned Kellogg School of Management (Chicago) campus. The second international immersion is at a top-ranked business school from emerging markets

Considered equivalent to an E-MBA, ISB Hyderabad also offers an 18-month PGPpro course to the students. The course is similar in content and rigour to an Executive MBA course globally. The content is trimmed to the needs of the profile and seniority of the class. PGPpro allows working professionals to complete a world-class course without any opportunity cost as they continue to earn while learning, thereby enabling them to apply their learnings in the workspace. According to media reports, the institute conducted its placement drive of 2023. The average package (mid-80%) offered during placements stood at INR 33.26 LPA. More than 1,500 job offers from 222 companies were made to the PGP batch of 2023. 

PGP is the popular programme of ISB Hyderabad. As per media reports, 394 companies offered 1,206 job offers to the 2024 batch students. The total count of students placed was above 850. Additionally, 70 first-time recruiters hired students. More than 50% of offers were made in the Consulting and Technology sector and 10% were from BFSI. 

During ISB Hyderabad placements 2023, the average package offered at ISB Hyderabad was INR 34.20 LPA. Moreover, 36 international offers were made. Further, a total of 222 companies registered for the 2023 placement process and rolled out 1,578 job offers. Also, it is observed that from the year 2021 to 2023 placements, ISB average package was improved. It increased by nearly 21% from 2021 to 2022, whereas, the amount was almost the same in 2022 and 2023. FPM is a four-year course offered at the doctoral level. Admission to FPM is based on Graduate Record Examination General Test (GRE) administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), Princeton, USA or GMAT administered by Pearson VUE, Bloomington, USA OR Common Admission Test (CAT)/ JRF scores. Applicants should have a four-year UG degree or a three-year UG and PG degree or equivalent in areas such as Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or Arts to apply for the FPM course. As per the official website, 1,208 offers were made to the PGPM batch of 2024 out of which 27 were international offers. Further, 405 companies participated in the ISB placements 2024. In addition, 80% of the PGP batch 2024 received a package of more than INR 35 LPA. In 2023, the average package and median package for mid-80% were INR 33.26 LPA and INR 32 LPA, respectively. 324 companies visited the institute campus in 2023 and offered 1,609 job opportunities during ISB Hyderabad placements 2023. Yes, having one of the GMAT/ GRE scores is compulsory for MBA admission at ISB Hyderabad. Candidates can also get admission in PGP for Young Leaders based on CAT score. While the institute offers PGP course to the students, it is sometimes commonly referred to as MBA. The application can be submitted along with the test centre/ unofficial score report but the official score from Pearson VUE (GMAT)/ ETS (GRE) must reach ISB admissions team within three weeks of application submission. As per the data collated from various sources on the internet, candidates were admitted to the 2021 cohort with scores as low as 580, and as high as 780. So the GMAT score range for ISB is 580-780.
