College is good in terms of faculty and placement. Infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Placement opportunities are good, but only for small companies like insurance and other small IT companies. The highest package is 5 LPA but now it's increasing, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Internships are good in college. The internships are helpful to improve students' skills and knowledge. Roles offered in software development, software testing, account, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good with internet, labs, and a library. Hostels are decent with rooms, and provide water and electricity. The food in the mess is average. The canteen is good. The canteen food is superb, and the facilities are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and qualified, ensuring students understand both theory and practical aspects. But the faculty has no proper knowledge of practical. The curriculum is relevant and updated with industry needs. In my batch 2019 scheme, the syllabus is from KTU University.
Other: Overall, the course provides a good academic foundation with supportive faculty members and decent placements. Campus has a healthy mix of academics, fests, and extracurricular activities that enrich the student experience.

I am so dissatisfied with this institution.
Placements: This college has a placement cell to help students get placed in good companies with high packages. Now a days, they have so many companies coming to the college, and they give good opportunities to our students at this time. The placements are too low. But in our terms, it will become a good opportunity for new comes.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is okay but not for a professional college. Now a days they have some improvements in the infrastructure. After some days, the infrastructure will become a professional college structure. All the fans, AC, and computer are working. If there is any problem in working, a mechanic is ready to solve the problem quickly.
Faculty: This college has very good faculty members. I proudly say that our miss is very friendly, and we don't feel a student-teacher relationship. They are all friendly, and they are ready to solve any doubt at any time without raising any problem. They help to pass each exam.
Other: This institute takes less money than other institutions.

I have an average college experience.
Placements: The college provides placement assistance. A few students got placed but most of the students who passed out got jobs on their own. The fee of the college varies, before a few years it was 4 lakhs but now it is more than 6 lakhs for engineering. A huge number of students enroll for the course of engineering each year.
Infrastructure: Our college provides decent facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and a library. The hostel facilities are average and the food is of very low quality. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. A TV and Wi-Fi are usually down or of very low speed and they cannot be used properly.
Faculty: The teaching of faculty members is quite good as teachers struggle as much as students for their academics. Semester exams are quite neutral in terms of difficulty. Faculty members are strict, and there are cameras in each examination hall. Teachers provide assistance for even supplementary exams.
Other: The college is average. There are placements, decent academics, and everything. The college life and campus are quite average.

Average college where you can enjoy campus life.
Placements: Nowadays, nearly 90% of students are placed in various companies. I believe the numerbs will rise in the future. Many companies hold job fairs on campus, which helps many students find employment. We have a very good placement cell that is very active.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. The food is average, but in comparison to other hostel menus, it is more diverse. Wi-Fi is available on the ground floor only. Water and electricity are both readily available. 5000 per month is the fee for the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is good. Exams are conducted strictly by following university instructions. Teaching is average, and even average students can grasp the concept and syllabus. A library is also available to help us with our studies. Teachers are helpful. Sem exams can be challenging at times.
Other: They are providing add-on courses along with the course, which will increase your chances of finding a job fast.

Below average experience, because of bad teaching
Placements: 1. I dont know about the correct number of people but our college placement cell manage to provide placements for some students even with arrears. The percentage must be 40% 2. As from my knowledge most companies are given a offer of lowest 7000 rupees per month and maximum i think 10000 or a bit more i dont know someone from my senior got more than that who placed. 3. Only infosys seems to be reputed others are local finance companies 5. Data analyst, software developer, web developer
Infrastructure: 1. Actually our College is still in a basic feature or development we have a chalk board and some old benches, desks and thats it for the classrooms, the wifi is placed in each floors but not all students can connect it only few can use it at a time. Library is spacious but there is lack of general books and the staffs are also not so well aware of how to manage a library well. 2. The overall structure of hostel is good but the rooms are so small for living because there is 4 people, other facilities are good.
Faculty: 1. Actually most of our teachers' are inexperienced and directly recruited after they pass out in mtech, because of low salary no good teachers will come to our college, but they are trying hard for us to understand even if their knowledge is limited. 2. Actually i think yes but i want more of practical way of studying here we are more onto unnecessary text book theories rather than doing appropriate practicals, to be skilled theory's are not enough. 3. Our pass percent of department is very bad not even 2 percentage. 15 supplies in 2 years is normal here

Strictly below-average college, both in terms of infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: I am now studying in the 3rd year of the CSE department, and in my college, they are assured of placements. When I asked our seniors about the placements, they are all disappointed, and the offers they are getting are around Rs. 7000 per month, which is too low. For a CSE graduate, the companies they are getting are local finance companies, etc. Very rarely does a graduate get a proper IT job through our college placement.
Infrastructure: When I joined the college, it was very disappointing; there were not many facilities. Now they are slowly developing the building infrastructure. However, the Wi-Fi is not available for all students, not everyone can connect to and use it. The library is there, but there are very few general books. In the case of the college hostel, the food is disastrous, but the overall infrastructure and facilities are not bad, just adjustable.
Faculty: Most of our teachers are very inexperienced. When they complete their M.Tech, they are directly recruited with a very low base salary, and they don’t know how to conduct proper classes and teach students, only a very few faculty members are good. Semester exams are okay. Teachers are choosing the easiest questions for the students to pass, but it badly affects the final semester exam.

Review of Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kothamangalam.
Placements: A placement cell is available at our college. Our college placements are average. Approximately 40% of students are placed. Job fairs are conducted every year. Students from this college and other colleges took part in those job fairs.
Infrastructure: Our college has average infrastructure. Our labs and facilities are well-developed. The college provides a hostel for boys and girls. The canteen is good and new. Wi-Fi is available in hostels. There are fewer sports and arts. The library is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They provide good education. They provide internships and workshops for other colleges. Two internal exams are conducted every semester. Assignments and tutorials are given in every subject.

Manipulative local company placements with low quality faculty members.
Placements: Placements are happening in my college, but the companies that are coming are not reputable or famous. They are local finance companies that are not actually related to the course we are studying, and we are actually expecting more good placements. The top companies that were taking the placements I saw are comparatively top, I have seen Infopark, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is still in development. There is a new stage which is being built now after we joined, and there are a few other infrastructural changes also, but the library could be better. The hostel is okay with good building structure, water, and other services, but the mess is a total mess.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are new joiners who are so inexperienced and dont know how to teach. They are trying to teach, but because of limited knowledge, they cannot teach us. They are overly dependent on the PDF, textbooks, and no other creative teaching methods.
