Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering (also known as IIAE Pune) was established in 2008 and is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) CAR 147 (B), Government of India. The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University for BSc Aviation. The college is accredited by NAAC with a grade B. The college offers all AME programs with the approval of DGCA.
IIAE is the first college in Western Region to have 8+ MRO/ Airline tie-ups for practicals. Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering offers UG, certificate, and other courses to students across the B1.1 Aeroplane Turbine- Mechanical, and other streams. It has a brief history of 16 years, 40 batches and 1700+ students.
