IIST MTech is a two-year course offered in a full-time mode. The postgraduate-level course is available in Machine Design, Digital Communication, and Computer Science & Engineering.

Step 1.1: Candidates seeking admission should register through the online admission portal available at the IIST website.
Step 1.2: Upon successful submission of all the relevant details, applicants must download and take the printout of the generated “Bank Challan” for remitting the required application fee.
Step 1.3: Applicants should submit the fee to the bank with the help of “Challan” and obtain the transaction details.
Step 1.4: Enter the bank transaction details using the applicant’s login and upload the receipt of the bank challan to complete the registration process.
Step 1.5: Candidates who are willing to appear in GATE 2019, need to pay the application fees of INR 1500 for General/ OBC Male students and INR 750 for the rest to complete their application.
