IEM Kolkata has started the admission process in the initial stages for the 2025-27 MBA session
WBJEE 2026 registration has begun for Institute of Engineering and Management admission to the BE/BTech course. Students can register till Apr 5, 2026, for the exam scheduled for May 24, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The JEE Main 2026 registration for session 2 has closed for admission to BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.
- The GATE 2026 result has been published for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE 2026 counselling for round 1 is expected to start from May 11, 2026.

Yes, candidates can enrol for admission at IEM Kolkata with Class 12 scores. The institute offers various UG courses. For UG courses, the basic eligibility criteria is to complete Class 12. However, for BTech course admission aspirants also need to have valid JEE Main scores.
No, the institute does not offer direct admissions. Candidates have to qualify the respective entrance test for admission. The accepted exam is IEMJEE for admission to BTech, BCA and BBA courses.
