IEM Kolkata has started the admission process in the initial stages for the 2025-27 MBA session
The WBJEE 2026 application form will be released soon for Institute of Engineering and Management admission to the BE/BTech and BPharma programs.
A few more updates are given below:
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The JEE Main 2026 registration for session 2 has closed for admission to BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The session 2 exams will be conducted from Apr 2 to Apr 9, 2026.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses has concluded. Results are scheduled for release on Mar 19, 2026.

Yes, candidates can enrol for admission at IEM Kolkata with Class 12 scores. The institute offers various UG courses. For UG courses, the basic eligibility criteria is to complete Class 12. However, for BTech course admission aspirants also need to have valid JEE Main scores.

Yes, there is an entrance exam for admission to MBA course at Institute of Engineering and Management. Students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria to be able to sit in the entrance exam. The selection criteria for this course are entrance-based, i.e., national-level entrance exam scores and candidates must pass graduation.
While filling out WBJEE application form, candidates need to pay fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by authorities. WBJEE application fee is INR 500 for General Male Candidates), INR 400 (for general female and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Male Candidates) and INR 300 (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW female candidates and Third Gender General Candidates). For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW Third Gender category candidates, the application fee is INR 200. If candidates does not pay application fee, their applications will be rejected by authorities.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the course are eligible to apply for the IEMCET exam. Candidates who clear the exam will get the admission offer letter. Candidates must present their required documents which are-
i) Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
ii) Admit Card of Class 10/ DOB Certificate
iii) Mark sheet of Class 10
iv) Mark sheet of Class 12th
v) All semester Mark sheet of BCA
vi) Domicile Certificate (For All State’s students)
