IHM Lucknow MSc is a two-year postgraduate degree programme, divided into four semesters, and offered full-time. The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission to an MSc course is that candidates must complete a three-year diploma and a three/ four-year graduate in hotel management course with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Additionally, IHM Lucknow MSc admission is based on NCHMCT MSc JEE + NCHMCT counselling.

2- Release of Cutoff List
The institute releases a cutoff list. It is based on the candidates' achieved score in the concerned entrance exam. Students with a rank equal to or better than the cutoff become eligible for participation in the counselling for seat allotment.
