MDS in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry 

at IMS BHU, Varanasi

For admission to IMS BHU, the NEET MDS cutoff 2024 was released for the last round. For the SC AI category candidates, the Cutoff was concluded during Round 1, wherein the available course for the category was MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics having the closing cutoff of 654, for the SC AI category candidates. However, the IMS BHU NEET MDS Cutoff for the ST AI category is not known. 

To be eligible for BSc course at IMS BHU, Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) to be eligible for admission Further, they must also appear for NEET UG, the accepted entrance exam for BSc (Nursing) admission ar IMS BHU. They must hold all the required documents to prove their eligibility during the admission process.

Institute of Medical Science, BHU offers a UG Diploma in Dental Mechanic. A Dental Mechanic is a skilled professional who assists a Dental Surgeon in preparing artificial teeth, dentures, crowns, and other prosthetic devices. They usually work in a laboratory setting. They can be employed at multiple set ups, such as hospitals, clinics, dental colleges, laboratories, etc. They can also set up their own dental laboratories besides serving at private or government-owned organisations.

Candidates willing to pursue a BSc (Nursing) at IMS BHU must clear the required NEET UG cut-off depending on their reservation category. The cut-off is released in the form of the closing ranks at which the admission is granted during various rounds of counselling. The cut-off for OBC-category candidates is slightly less competitive as compared to the General-category candidates. Candidates who get selected to pursue a BSc in Nursing at the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU must confirm their admission by submitting the applicable fees. The total tuition fee for a BSc at IMS BHU is INR 900. Furthermore, selected candidates must pay a one-time fee of INR 800 at admission. This includes Enrolment Fee, Admission Fee, I-Card and Passbook Fee, College Caution Money, and Degree Charges. The mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the college/sanctioning body. Institute of Medical Sciences BHU does not offer direct admission. IMS BHU primarily relies on national-level entrance exams like NEET-UG for undergraduate programs (like MBBS and BSc Nursing) and NEET-PG, NEET-SS, and NEET-MDS for postgraduate and super-specialty courses. After qualifying the relevant entrance exam, candidates must participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee.

• BHU MBBS/BDS 2023: The application form is already released and NEET-qualified candidates can fill it out till July 25
• BHU MBA Admission 2023: The application form was released on October 03, 2022
• BHU B.V.Sc Admissions: The last date to apply is August 18, 2023
• BHU Fellowship 2023: The application form needs to be submitted in the Office of the Director, IMS, BHU, Varanasi - 221005 by July 08, 2023
• BHU Senior Resident: The application form is currently invited for the vacant post of Senior Resident (Not Linked with Course) in the Faculty of Medicine, Ayurveda and Dental Sciences, IMS, BHU
