- The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).

In 2022–2023 around 60-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest was INR 3 LPA. The average salary package is around 6 LPA which is pretty good. IPS Academy, Indore is ranked 33 out of 170 colleges in India by The Times of India for B.Tech programs, up from 32 out of 148 in 2022.
Opportunities for Internships: The college offers direct internship and training courses to the top 3 students in the fifth semester. Less stipends are paid for these internships and training programs, which are offered by organizations like Internshala, etc.
Placement Experience: Beginning in the seventh semester, a student is qualified to be placed at the beginning of the fourth year. Numerous businesses go to campuses to recruit both groups of people and individual individuals. Maximum Package: 44L+ Typical Package: 4 to 8 L
IPS Academy offers 76 courses through three institutes and schools affiliated with DAVV Indore. The courses are offered at UG and PG levels in multiple streams like Engineering, Business, Arts, etc. IPS Academy admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The academy accepts national-level entrance exams like CMAT, JEE Main, etc. for admission to a few courses.
The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc Engineering) is a degree awarded by universities to students who have completed four years (eight semesters) worth of coursework related to a specific branch of engineering. Most colleges operate on semester basis i.e each year corresponds to two semesters. Eligibility for entry is 10+2 years of school education. Generally the first year (first two semesters) is common to all branches, and has the same subjects of study. Courses divert after first year. The medium of instruction and examination is English and IES is affiliated to RGPV university. IES offers engineering in various branches like: computer science, civil, fire technology, electronics and telecommunication, electrical engineering, chemical engineering. Including all the streams in BTech the number of seats available are around 1700-1800.
Prior to 2013, performance on the MP-PET was the primary criterion for undergraduate admission to the Institute. The Joint Entrance Examination results are currently used by the Institute to determine admission. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the basis for admission at the postgraduate level.
