Jagdish Sheth School of Management has a strong record of placements for PGDM/MBA courses. In 2025, the highest and average package offered during JAGSOM placements in 2025 stood at INR 20 LPA and INR 10.96 LPA, respectively.  97% of the PGDM Finance batch 2025 secured placements in reputed companies.

Candidates are selected based on a valid score of JAGMAT, which is an in-house aptitude test of JAGSoM. Additionally, candidates are also required to submit the scores of either CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ MHCET & NMAT (Only for International MBA). Further, candidates will have to sit for Group Discussion for a duration of 30 minutes and a two-round Personal Interview (PI) will also be conducted to select the candidates for JAGSoM PGDM course. Find below the step-wise application process for JAGSoM MBA/PGDM admission 2025:

1. Visit the website of JAGSOM and click on 'Programs' and then on the MBA/PGDM course.
2. A new window regarding the desired course will open up. Press 'Apply For This Program.
3. Register yourself online.
4. Make an online payment of the application fee, which is inclusive of taxes and payment handling charges.
5. Once the final payment is made, upload the necessary documents and submit the application form.

For admission to PGDM course at JAGSoM, candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Those who pass a UG degree with 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply for this course. Further, eligible candidates can apply for JAGMAT entrance exam. Those who secure well in the exam will be called for other selection rounds. 

MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates can also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.

The total seat intake for this course is 60. Students have to study the first year of the course at JAGSoM Bangalore, for that, scholarships are also given to students. However, the second year will be taught at the respective global business schools. Admission to the International PGDM course is done based on valid scores of NMAT and MHCET (For International MBA only). Candidates also have to qualify IELTS and TOEFL as per the requirement of the respective global schools.
