Campus life and placements here are fantastic.
Placements: From our batch, 100% of students got placed. At least 70% of them got placed in big and renowned companies such as Brain, IIFL, PwC, KPMG, Tata Capital, RBS, BYJU's, etc., that visited the institute to recruit the students. The highest salary offered was 32 LPA, and the average package was 19 LPA. A majority of students got placed in the management, consulting, analytics, engineering, IT services and BFSI sectors.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure of JBIMS is good, with amazing vintage architecture. It is one of the oldest yet well-maintained infrastructures. The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus. I found the PG located at a bit far, but it was good on the living part.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and they motive and foster the students to be industry-ready and grab the job offers in top recruiting companies during placements. The two-year program is divided into 4 semesters, and there's a set core course in each semester. Students are focused more on electives, seminars, and projects during their 2nd and 3rd semesters. Dissertation must be completed in the final semester. Therefore, the syllabus is very diverse with a combination of core courses, seminars and practicals along with summer projects and dessertation.

Placements: JBIMS is a very well-known institute for its decent reputation of campus placements. Top recruiters such as Brain, IIFL, PwC, KPMG, Tata Capital, RBS, BYJU's, to name a few, visit the institute to recruit the students. The institute has an impressive record of 100% placement guarantee to students across their finance programs. The highest salary was 32 LPA, and the average was 18.91 LPA. A majority of students got placed under the management, consulting, analytics, engineering and IT services and BFSI sector.
Infrastructure: Some of the facilities include well-ventilated and air-conditioned classrooms, recreational areas, indoor and outdoor games, a well-stocked library, seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, medical facilities etc. The hostels are well-maintained and managed by the hostel committee members. The rooms are daily cleaned and maintained properly by the housekeepers. The hostel rooms have twin sharing bedrooms, water heaters, bookshelves, and attached bathrooms. The canteen offers a variety of food options to students. Every week, the menu gets updated as per students' cravings.

Placements are good and will improve going ahead.
Placements: Placements in the college were very good for our batch because at that time the new course received momentum. The highest package offered in on-campus placements was 21 LPA. Roles across global banking, retail banking, corporate finance, and analysis were offered to students. Every student gets an internship from the college.
Infrastructure: The library is well-equipped, and the college has a good infrastructure and Wi-Fi zone. The college canteen is well-maintained and serves good budget-friendly food. Most of the classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. Hostel facility is very affordable and in close proximity to the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are of top-notch. Most of them are experts in their fields with doctorates. We also have visiting faculty members who are currently working in the industry or have retired. Industry exposure is maintained through various guest lectures. Fully satisfied with the campus and good placement in 2021.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 35.75 lakhs per annum, the average package is 21.36 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 14 lakhs per annum. Accenture, Adani, Cisco, Deloitte, etc. are the top recruiting companies for my course. About 50% people got internship from my course in Cisco, Accenture, Asian paints, Reliance, etc. Wealth management, credit analytics, and management consulting are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities, like a cafeteria, classroom, computer labs, science labs, library, digital library, etc., provided in my department. My hostel has high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour water supply, attached bathroom, etc. And the quality of the mess and canteen is good; medical facilities are provided to every block in the hostel. There are so many equipment for sports like stadium for cricket, football, tennis, kho-kho, badminton, kabaddi, shot-put, etc. and indoor games like chess, carrom, etc.
Faculty: Yes! The teachers are very helpful to us and they are skilled and knowledgeable. They explain very clearly. Yes! The topics are relevant to the course. It depends on the interest shown by the students in whether they are ready for industry or not. An average student should be passed out and a good student will get good marks and the pass percentage of my course is 80%.
Other: I am interested in the course M.Sc. (finance), so I chose the course. The best thing in my course is to gain a competitive edge. The subject is very tough. The annual fest conducted in my college is MS the Catalyst Forum' in the month of February every year. At that time, the campus crowd was high at the college. About 100,000 rupees in scholarships are provided to every student. The surroundings of my campus are filled with varieties of trees, which make the campus very beautiful.

JBIMS does not accept ATMA scores anymore for MMS admissions and it accepts CAT, MAH MBA CET, and GMAT scores.

The ATMA cutoff for PUMBA is usually high and ranges between 95 to 99 percentile.
