The experience I had at my college.
Placements: 20 percent of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 8 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are ZeroCode HR, Sutherland, HCL, Excel, Advi Technologies, and Skill Intern. Nobody got internships from our college. They are selected by an outside company through an application. The roles offered in our course are AI engineer and ML developer.
Infrastructure: The facility of classroom is good. But the Wi-Fi facility is not there. In the labs, there are few working computers. Mostly computers are not working. The facilities in our hostel are 3 MEM per room. Each has bed, beeruva, and study chair. The quality of food in mess is poor. In canteen, food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is average. This course curriculum is relevant. This course makes students develop their skills that will be useful in upcoming market. The semester exams are moderate in our college. The pass percentage is 60 percent.
Other: I have an interest in this course so I chose this. The best thing of my course is now a days AI is developing everywhere. So AI is used mostly to do quick work. AI is used to do work easily and fastly. The faculty has to be changed in our course. College will conduct events once a year like fests. The campus crowd is huge. The government provides scholarships.

My college review with good infrastructure and placements in the past few years.
Placements: Students who get above 80%, are allowed to be placed in our course. The highest package is about 11 LPA, and average package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiting company is Infosys. 70% of students got internships. There are so many activities to be performed in our courses.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure but there is a problem with Wi-Fi and fans in our classrooms. Library is also very peaceful place to study. The quality of facilities in our hostel is not good. There is good food available in canteen and mess. There is no problem with food. There is a medical college beside the college. We don't have any problem with medical. There is a very big open ground to play games and sports.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Faculty members are very strict in their studies. All faculty members help students in every situation. Curriculum makes students industry-ready. Every year there are 2 semesters, and there is 1 day gap between the exams. The pass percentage is above 6 in all subjects.
Other: There are good placements and high packages offered by software companies for this course. Many members suggested taking this course. We have to study one complete course perfectly to get a good job in companies. There are so many events and fests. We have good connectivity. I have scholarships and the money is accredited to college only. I used to pay Rs 85,000 per year.

Review of JB Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: 1. In our college, 90% of students got placed. 2. The highest package is 50 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 20 Lacs per annum. 3. Tech Mahindra and TVS are the top recruiting companies. 4. No internship is provided. 5. Assistance engineering, web developer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: In our department there are labs, work shops, library, sports, CRT classes, smart classes, etc. In our hostel, they provide good food and there are also Wi-Fi facilities. Rooms and washrooms are well maintained and there are enough beds and blankets .
Faculty: The teachers are well enough to teach; they are qualified teachers with Ph.D. degrees. This course is relevant, and this course is better for our future; it's all about the mechanical things around the world. By studying this course, we can sustain in various industries in the world .

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2025

The college life I expected before coming here is becoming a reality.
Placements: In my college, nearly 95% of students are placed, with the highest package being 14.5 Lacs and the average package at 4.5 Lacs. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and HCL are hiring many students. From the teaching side, top companies like Accenture and Deloitte hire between 50 to 100 students.
Infrastructure: Our college has decent infrastructure with separate blocks for different branches. It provides facilities like labs; each branch has its own lab, and every department has a separate department library. The classrooms are nice, equipped with projectors that help students and faculty explain and understand easily.
Faculty: The professors are highly skilled and knowledgeable; they teach us well and clarify our doubts. Every faculty member helps students score well in subjects and provides insights into the outside world and the job market. The semester exams are quite challenging, and most students pass; the pass percentage is approximately 89%.
Other: The main reason for choosing this course is for a software job; my course is IT. The best thing about my course is software and application development. One area that needs improvement in my course is the syllabus, which has not been updated for 20 years but is still being taught. Events and festivals are conducted once a year and last nearly a week. The festivals are attractive and enjoyable. The college surroundings are beautiful, with a nice environment, a big ground, and different courts for sports and other extracurricular activities.

It is a great college for our better future.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 70% of people got internships in top companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: All facilities are very good in our college. The hostel is good. We have Wi-Fi in our classrooms. We have a great library with a wide range of books. The quality of the food is very good. The hostel provides non-vegetarian food items twice a week.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant. The semester exams are based on academic performance. The pass percentage is very good. It is 80%.
Other: Extracurricular activities are very good. The world is all about computers. I chose this course because I liked coding.

Our college is good, but it is losing its reputation.
Placements: JBIT attracted MNCs such as Amazon, Virtusa, Polaris, Cyient, and many startups which provided placements for both core students and students from other branches. The percentage of selection was completely low compared to the number of companies visiting for placements. Students were offered salary packages ranging from 2 LPA to 6 LPA depending on the role or position. Top roles such as software developer and .net developer were offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the computer science and engineering course was good. We had a decent computer lab where PCs were in good condition. We didn't have Wi-Fi in the lab. In the boys' hostel, we did not have good hostel facilities. There was no Wi-Fi available on campus. The quality of the food served was not good. The water supply was for only 20 minutes in the morning and evening.
Faculty: Only a few were very talented professors, whereas other professors just stuck to the book knowledge and couldn't clear up doubts when raised by students. Some teachers were short-tempered and lazy. Our curriculum included all languages where we competed with modern world technologies. There were no good professors to teach the latest technologies like ML, AI, and DL. Only a few students who worked after college were industry-ready. One needed to appreciate the exam pattern of JBIT because it prepared quality question papers. The pass percentage was more than 90% in the computer science batch.
Other: I'm a 2014-2018 batch student who graduated in computer science and engineering. I chose CSE because I had options to get jobs both on the core and software side. We had a good library with lots of collections of books. We could spend any amount of time that helps in R&D. JBIT might look into the ability of professors to solve any doubts. Both theoretical and practical, they added the latest technologies to the course. JBIT provided a chance for every student from all courses to participate in fests, events, sports events, etc.
