Candidates will be shortlisted for the entrance test on the basis of marks obtain in Master degree. Candidate with more than 3 years industry/ teaching/ practicing/ managerial/ professional experience will be given preference. The following categories of candidates may be exempted from taking the entrance test: Candidate who have qualified UGC/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/ SLET (Haryana State) or any other similar examination. Holders of Teacher Fellowships from the UGC or any other Government funding agency. Candidate who have completed their Ph.D. coursework/ M.Phil. in another University/ Organization, subject to approval by the School Doctoral Committee (SDC).

Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on marks obtained in entrance test.

Candidates shall be selected on the basis of their academic record, performance in the entrance test and personal interview.
