No, you cannot get admission at JIPMER for its BSc courses without having a valid NEET rank. The exam is mandatory for admission. Candidates also need to fulfil the eligibility rules for the particular BSc course they are applying to. 

JIPMER application process for all the courses is conducted in online mode only. Candidates applying for JIPMER MBBS admission must fill the NEET UG application form. For other courses offered such as MSc (Nursing), MD, MS, MSc, DM, MCh and PhD candidates are required to submit their application in the prescribed format available online on the official website of JIPMER Puducherry. NTA will release the NEET 2026 result in July, 2026 after the NEET re-exam has been conducted. The cutoff will be released for the admission to the UG-level medical courses for MBBS and BDS and other courses.

JIPMER Puducherry MBBS fee structure is cumulative of multiple components, such as tuition fee, caution money, and more. The total tuition fee for the UG-level programme is INR 30,465. After the final selection, students need to pay the admission fee amount as per the institute or the first semester fee. The fee amount mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

For the OBC AI category, the JIPMER Puducherry cutoff 2026 was released for all rounds for the January session. As per this session, the overall cutoff ranged from 82 to 25808 for various MD and MS course branches.

NTA is expected to start the NEET 2026 registration in the first week of February. The last date of application is likely to be scheduled for first week of March. NEET 2026 will be conducted in the first week of May. 

JIPMER Puducherry fee once paid by the college students will never be refunded. If a student decides to withdraw their admission or leaves a course midway, the following rules apply:

• Caution Deposits: The caution deposit paid by the students is the only refundable fee component & is returned to the student upon successful course completition or when leaving the hostel. 

• Academic Fees: The entire amount paid at the time of JIPMER admission will be forfeited.
• Penalty: For MBBS students who withdraw admission after getting a seat, an additional penalty of INR 10,000 will be imposed.

JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) offers the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. Admission to the JIPMER MBBS programme is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET UG is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually for admission to undergraduate medical programmes in India.

Overall six months time is sufficent for INI CET preparation. This includes 4 month in depth study and 2-month for revision work. The moment a candidate plan to appear for the INI CET, first and formost things he/she should do is to draw a study plan. Focus on those subjects where you are strong in terms of concept. Don't spend too musch time initially on subjects where you are weak. This will demotivate you and affect your preparation. Keep this in mind that concept is key. High yielding topics must be prepared properly to score good marks in INI CET exam.

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET exam. The qualifying INI CET cut off percentile for the general category is 50%. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category have to score minimum qualifying cut off, 45. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off percentile are eligible for the counselling process. Based on INI CET cut off a merit list will be released. The merit list comprises name of eligible candidates for the different counselling rounds. AIIMS conducted INI CET 2025 July session on May 17, 2025.
