I am satisfied with all facilities and placement opportunities.

Placements: TKM College of Engineering is one of the most prestigious colleges in Kerala. More than 60% of students get placed after the program. The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package is around 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top recruiters are Oracle, Key-Value, Litmus 7, MRF, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Almost all companies provide internships. Top roles of placements include software engineer, test engineer, associate DevOps engineer, associate data engineer, digital specialist engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has a central library as well as individual library for departments. Computer labs have high performance desktops. The college and hostel provide free Wi-Fi for students and facilities. Every classroom is provided with projectors or Samsung smart board TVs. The college has a 3D printing facility. Decent food is provided at hostels according to the demands of the inmates. The college has a doctor and a psychiatrist. There is a tennis court, volleyball court, badminton court, squash court, basketball court, and a multi-purpose ground for cricket and football. Indoor sports facilities like chess and table tennis are also present. The college and hostels provide gym facilities. Canteen and stationary stores are also present.

Faculty: TKM College of Engineering has the finest teachers in Kerala. Although some experienced teachers struggle to adapt to modern teaching techniques. A large percentage of professors have a Ph.D. The college is affiliated with KTU. The curriculum is relevant but very much cut short and scattered. The college trains students to make them industry -eady by providing numerous workshops and internship opportunities. Semester exams are pretty easy in KTU most of the time. Pass percentage in TKM is around 80% and is the highest or the second highest among all engineering colleges in Kerala.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering since it was my field of interest and faculty members in the TKM mechanical engineering department are among the best. The mechanical engineering department has a 6-year NAAC accreditation. The curriculum could be a bit more practically oriented. The college hosts Hestia, one of the best techno-cultural fests in Kerala where quality workshops and competitions are conducted and popular celebrities are also invited. The campus is located in Karicode which is just 15-20 minutes away from Kollam Junction by road. The college has many clubs such as SAE, IEDC, IEEE, ASME, ISHRAE, etc. There are several non-technical clubs such as the music club and the film and drama club.

A good campus worthy for education.

Placements: Placement for mechanical engineers student is low. However student can attend off campus drive if yours academics is good. Now mechanical companies are hiring through campus drive. CS students get more opportunity than other branches. The placement cell is active in college campus. It is becoming more and more efficient.

Infrastructure: Tkm institute is a dream college. The college provide Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus including hostel. Smart class are also an added advantage for the college The library contains thousand of book and has faculty for any help. I would give 4 star to college hostel. Game and sports are improving in the college.

Faculty: The teachers are very much qualified and are very friendly. I would give 5 star for teachers quality. The teachers uses video presentations for difficult subject. The teachers are really helpful at all time especially during exam days. The teachers will complete the syllabus on time.
