Placements: Around 70% students were placed. The highest package, internships with job opportunities, were provided by some companies like IQVIA. Top roles offered were Facility Manager, MEP Engineer, and Systems Designer. All students placed are happy with the opportunities received.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and a good team of faculty to train the students with the needs of today and the best curriculum offered by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). Free Wi-Fi is provided in hostels and the campus. Hostel facilities are adequate and the food is of good quality.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and accessible to the students, highly knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is top-notch. The curriculum is as per the needs of today's demand and is provided by KTU and AICTE. Semester exams are those which evaluate the students' knowledge in the course, and the pass percentage stands between 60 to 80.
Other: I chose this course out of passion, and the course provided meets the demands of the emerging sphere. The college is well known for extracurricular and social activities, with the annual techno-cultural fest, HESTIA, conducted by students and faculty, having over 30,000 footfall.

Good infrastructure and connectivity among students.
Placements: The Mechanical Department is the sole institution of the college, as it has three classes in one year with about 200 students. It creates the majority of the college crowd. About 50–60% of the students were placed last year and the average salary was about 4-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies include many famous industries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available at the college is awesome. The labs are very well occupied and many tools are there for us to use. Hostel facilities are also decent, with free Wi-Fi facilities. The food is also decent in the hostel. Sports clubs and turf are also present nearby.
Faculty: As the college is now autonomous, the course and curriculum are a bit different as compared to the KTU scheme. It is more practical-based. But the problem is that it focuses more on theory than practical knowledge. The faculty are authorized and are available for us. Exams are also fine.

Good college, one of the best college in Kerala .
Placements: 70-75% students get placed. Average pack 80000 per annum. Maximum of 7LPA. Bajaj, infosys. Tata is the main core company recruiting in our college. Students having not back papers got sure internship and then placement to the companies. So many students got placements.
Infrastructure: Labs are perfect and there are many labs for many streams, cryogenic, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics etc. Hostel facilities are nice. Room was adjustable but food was bit bad. Classrooms are hightech and college have Wi-Fi. In the library almost all textbooks and extra reading books are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and qualified, knowledgeable, course syllabus are perfect, there will 2 internal test. And after semester exam, it was above average. Since thr college is now autonomous the curriculum are tougher buy fine. It is more of an outcome based curriculum.

I am satisfied with all facilities and placement opportunities.
Placements: TKM College of Engineering is one of the most prestigious colleges in Kerala. More than 60% of students get placed after the program. The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package is around 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top recruiters are Oracle, Key-Value, Litmus 7, MRF, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Almost all companies provide internships. Top roles of placements include software engineer, test engineer, associate DevOps engineer, associate data engineer, digital specialist engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a central library as well as individual library for departments. Computer labs have high performance desktops. The college and hostel provide free Wi-Fi for students and facilities. Every classroom is provided with projectors or Samsung smart board TVs. The college has a 3D printing facility. Decent food is provided at hostels according to the demands of the inmates. The college has a doctor and a psychiatrist. There is a tennis court, volleyball court, badminton court, squash court, basketball court, and a multi-purpose ground for cricket and football. Indoor sports facilities like chess and table tennis are also present. The college and hostels provide gym facilities. Canteen and stationary stores are also present.
Faculty: TKM College of Engineering has the finest teachers in Kerala. Although some experienced teachers struggle to adapt to modern teaching techniques. A large percentage of professors have a Ph.D. The college is affiliated with KTU. The curriculum is relevant but very much cut short and scattered. The college trains students to make them industry -eady by providing numerous workshops and internship opportunities. Semester exams are pretty easy in KTU most of the time. Pass percentage in TKM is around 80% and is the highest or the second highest among all engineering colleges in Kerala.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering since it was my field of interest and faculty members in the TKM mechanical engineering department are among the best. The mechanical engineering department has a 6-year NAAC accreditation. The curriculum could be a bit more practically oriented. The college hosts Hestia, one of the best techno-cultural fests in Kerala where quality workshops and competitions are conducted and popular celebrities are also invited. The campus is located in Karicode which is just 15-20 minutes away from Kollam Junction by road. The college has many clubs such as SAE, IEDC, IEEE, ASME, ISHRAE, etc. There are several non-technical clubs such as the music club and the film and drama club.

A good campus worthy for education.
Placements: Placement for mechanical engineers student is low. However student can attend off campus drive if yours academics is good. Now mechanical companies are hiring through campus drive. CS students get more opportunity than other branches. The placement cell is active in college campus. It is becoming more and more efficient.
Infrastructure: Tkm institute is a dream college. The college provide Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus including hostel. Smart class are also an added advantage for the college The library contains thousand of book and has faculty for any help. I would give 4 star to college hostel. Game and sports are improving in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very much qualified and are very friendly. I would give 5 star for teachers quality. The teachers uses video presentations for difficult subject. The teachers are really helpful at all time especially during exam days. The teachers will complete the syllabus on time.

Good college to study.Overall one of the best engineering colleges in the state
Placements: Average 5 LPA.The companies include Larsen and Tubro,Mahindra,Cognizant,Shobha Developers etc.Some software companies like Wipro also provides placements in the college.Overall satisfied placements in the college.People who know programming has a chance to get higher packages.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well maintained and well equiped.The campus is neat and tidy.Good environment to study and enjoy college life.Overall, the campus is small in sense of area but very well organised.Developmental works have been carrying out frequently in the campus.
Faculty: Mostly the faculties are IITians.They are highly qualified and know how to teach.Good college if you focused on academics and all.College fest,Hestia is one of the top college fest in the state.Overall good college for everthing. I recommend this college if you want to enjoy and carry out studies also.

Absolutely must go college for those who want to take that spicy college life alongside career.
Placements: 30 percent of students were placed midterm. And around 25 students got placed by the end of the semester. The highest salary package offered was INR 1,10,000 per annum and the lowest was INR 24,000 per annum. Wipro, TCS, L&T, Seimens were few among the top recruiting companies. Almost 90 percent of the students got an internship in L&T.
Infrastructure: The facilities offered are quite sufficient. Qualified and well-trained faculty members. Well-equipped labs. Sports faculty and facilities were also up-to marks. Hostel food and college mess are very hygienic and scrumptious food is always served on the table.
Faculty: Faculty were not only qualified but were extremely friendly. Getting industry ready is always an option for the student. They could easily opt for internship programs in leasing industries. Postgraduate programs are also effectively encouraged by the campus.
Other: Bachelors in Mechanical engineering from a reputed college is a very good option. I don't feel anything needs a change. Annual sports meets, art fest, inter college tournaments.
