College has a good infrastructure and natural vibe.
Placements: In our college, in our mechanical department, we are getting 98% of students placed in a minimum of 2 LPA. All the companies that are coming here for an interview are good and top-rated companies. Many of the top students are getting top companies with a high annual package.
Infrastructure: Our college has good lab facilities, and I am in a private hostel, which has a good study atmosphere and has facilities that are required for students, such as Wi-Fi, a volleyball court, and a wide range of activities for students to relax.
Faculty: In our college, the syllabus was taken from KTU (Kalam Technical University), and the syllabus was easy for the 2024 scheme. It is easy compared to other schemes, and exams are moderate, an average student can easily clear the exam without any complications and difficulty.
Other: Here, cultural programmes and events are low compared to other private colleges.

Great college with good academics, college life, and placements .
Placements: Currently, I am doing my bachelor's in mechanical engineering at NSS College of Engineering. Almost 80% of students will get placed if they have good academics. The highest package was around 16 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is about 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata, Federal Bank, Wipro, L&T, etc. Also, our college provides various internship programs for improving our skills.
Infrastructure: It's the second largest government college in Kerala. Our college contains a main central library, a department-wise library, great lab facilities, and smart classrooms. Also, a large ground is available, and all sports items are promoted here: volleyball, kabaddi, football, cricket, basketball, netball, handball, etc.
Faculty: Teachers and other faculty members are well trained and educated; they all are well-experienced persons. Teaching quality and their behavior towards students are all top level, and our syllabus is a little bit outdated, and we need to grab information and education from extra workshops and internships. The semester exam is simple compared to other universities; the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Mechanical engineering is the oldest, and it's a versatile course, and in NSS College, mechanical engineering has top-quality teachers and great placements. Although the syllabus needs to be updated. There are many cultural events, party-based programs, etc., and also our college provides scholarships for all sections.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the beautiful environment and campus life.
Placements: There are so many companies recruiting students from our college like TCS and L&T; there will be criteria set by the company. For some companies, there must be no backlog history. For others, supplementary exams are not a problem; they only look at the performance in the interview.
Infrastructure: Our college hostel is very eco-friendly and has a nice environment with good food and accommodation. The rooms consist of 4 people per room and single rooms are available for those who opt for them. Bathroom facilities are also good, and there is regular cleaning as well.
Faculty: The facilities here are very helpful and kind. They are always there to help us by clearing our doubts and providing career guidance. They assist us with our projects and everything else. The teaching style is simple and easy to understand. All the teachers are well-qualified and have Ph.D.s.

An in-depth review of NSS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING looking towards the academics, sports etc.
Placements: About half of our students in the college are getting placed during the recruitment period. This indicates good placement opportunities. Higher package offering companies include ALSTOM and L&T, offering packages of about 18 lakhs per annum. The lowest package can be about 3 lakhs per annum and is mostly offered by marketing companies. The top recruiters of our college are ALSTOM, L&T, TCS, MRF, Gulf Asia, and Shoba Constructions Ltd, among others. Our college mainly focuses on placements rather than internships. There are internships offered by a few companies. For a fresher, the roles offered in mechanical engineering are base roles, such as site engineer, supervisor, inspection officer, trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is spread over a land of about 125 acres with good infrastructure. All our classes are well-furnished and have projectors for presentations. Laboratories have good facilities, and Wi-Fi is not available for students. They can avail of two libraries: a general library containing reference books, magazines, newspapers, etc., and a department library with more specialized books and journals by authors like PK NAG, RK BANSAL, RS KHURUMI, etc. The hostels in the college mainly have shared rooms. Each room consists of two beds, two tables, two chairs, a common wardrobe, a fan, a light, and a charging socket. The food available is quite good, and the mess kitchen is properly maintained, providing healthy food. Within walking distance, there is a primary health center near the college that is free to access, and there is no fee. There is also a hospital located 8 km away. The college gives equal importance to sports and academics. There are grounds for cricket and football, and courts for basketball, volleyball, and lawn tennis. There are also indoor courts for badminton and table tennis, as well as clubs for chess, carrom, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, though exceptions exist. All faculty members are highly qualified, holding Masters and Ph.D. degrees. The teaching quality is quite good. They provide training to meet industry requirements through participation in technical clubs like EDC, SAE, etc. Semester exams are quite challenging; in the last semester, the pass percentage was about 64%.
Other: Mechanical engineering is considered as the base for any growing industry. We can make changes in the existing automobile industry and many things that we see in day-to-day life. The semester is too tight, and faculty members are struggling to complete the courses on time. Having Wi-Fi in class would be nice. Events happen frequently for occasions like Onam, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, etc. A technical fest occurs once a year, consisting of various sports competitions, technical workshops, hackathons, games, proshows featuring celebrities, etc. The campus is located far from the crowded city and is calm and quiet; the atmosphere here is pleasant. Extracurricular activities include NSS, IEEE, ACES, and ARMS. These clubs are quite famous in our college and students can participate in various games.

Being Build is better than building yourself.
Placements: Students in the sixth semester can attend the placement drives by college PTIB. Some companies do not accept back papers and have a history of backlogs. The highest package offered is about 6-7 LPA. Companies like Alstom, L&T, MRF, Quest Global, and TCS are hiring students from the college. Students can do internships at various companies like CSL Ltd, CIPET International, BEML, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with a central library with internet facilities and access to books and journals for reference. Each department has its own library for departmental activities. The campus has canteen facilities and hostel accommodations at moderate rates. If the hostel is full, the campus is surrounded by paying guest rooms. A railway station is located within 2 km and a bus stand within 6 km.
Faculty: Experienced faculty members ensure better engagement and participation of students in academics. Proper review of assignments and assessments is conducted to improve student performance. The course syllabus meets industrial standards and incorporates industrial technology.
Other: I chose this course due to my personal interest in machines and automobiles. The campus celebrates every festival and hosts events like Techfest, Nemesis, Dyuksha, and one cultural festival like Noopuram.

The college is better than most of the private colleges and is very reputed.
Placements: One of the colleges in Kerala in which most of the top companies like Tata Elixer, etc., are coming even during the recession period. There are opportunities if you can work hard. The placements have been good overall, although the number has been reduced due to the current recession.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is old and looks appealing from the outside, but the college contains all the equipment needed for the students. The hostel is very good and contains Wi-Fi. The food is rated very highly as the hostel food is decided by the students themselves.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, as you can expect from a top-rated government college in Kerala. The course is from Kerala Technical University. The course is a little old as compared to the current market standards, but it is relevant enough.

A college with a beautiful atmosphere that is worth the money and has all the facilities.
Placements: For the students who score above 6.5 CGPA, the average package provided is between INR 3 LPA and INR 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Alstom, Wipro, LNT, TCS, and many more. Over 80% of students get internships. Mechanical engineer manager, maintenance manager, Aerospace engineer, Senior design engineer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on the college compound. Labs have good machines and learning equipment. Classrooms are okay, and the library is really good and contains all kinds of books. The hostel has Wi-Fi and good food, and the canteen is pretty good. Sports and games are given importance and are encouraged.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified; most of them are Ph.D. holders in my branch. The teaching quality is good, the course curriculum is relevant, and the students are industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate or hard sometimes, depending on the syllabus and question papers.
Other: Mechanical engineering is a good branch for automotive enthusiasts. I wish that we could have enough internships or practicals in our syllabus, like 50% practical experience and 50% theory. Events and fests are conducted by the union and some other clubs; the campus crowd is pretty good. Connectivity is good; the campus has a beautiful forest and mountains; the surrounding houses contain PG for the students. Scholarships are provided for deserving students, and many extracurricular activities are provided through many clubs.

Good placements in 2015,2020. Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Numerous companies are visiting the campus. Some of them are tcs, cognizant, Wipro, Alstom, E&Y, and Infosys. The highest package made was 10LPA with the average salary package around 4LPA. Almost 80-90% of students get placed in various companies.
Infrastructure: Numerous social groups and clubs are active throughout the college period. Anyone willing to join the clubs can get into it, and participate in many events conducted by them. Better classroom, inverter facilities, better hostel with good food and rooms. Better playground.
Faculty: There is a professor from NIT, IIT, and some other colleges who get a Ph.D. to teach you. The semester exam can be passed with more than 70%. Easy to understand, better easygoing teachers. This course curriculum is relevant. Make the students industry ready.
Other: Best scholarship and surroundings.
