Know more about government RIT KOTTAYAM, one of the best engineering colleges in Kerala.
Placements: Placements at RIT Kottayam are excellent and there are so many companies eagerly waiting to select students based on their performance. In the mechanical department, many students are looking for higher studies so they don't participate in campus placement interviews, the others who look for placements got placed here. It is about 20-25%. But if you want to get placed in a reputed company, you surely will get a chance, the rest will be based on your performance. The highest average package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. There are so many alumni from here in ISRO.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here in the mechanical department is very good. There is Wi-Fi, vast engineering workshop, drawing hall, Amenities room, Digital classroom, Library, Air-conditioned Seminar hall, water purifier, badminton court, Canteen, cafeteria etc. Quality food at cheap rate is available in the canteen, also the hostel food is not bad. There is a big ground here for football and cricket, also gym is available, table tennis, carrom, chess etc. Can be played. There is basketball and volleyball court also available .
Faculty: The main attraction of this college is its experienced teaching faculty members. All are highly experienced and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult as they teach every portion. The pass percentage for the college is 77% this year.
Other: I chose this course because it is my passion. All students in our batch and in the passing out batch are vibrant and powerful. They are truly dedicated. There are many tech and art events conducted like Bicycle Design Challenge and Done Development Challenge by SAE. There are technical societies like ISTE, IEDC, and SAE here.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam is a road to success.
Placements: From the seventh semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visit for the purpose of placements are L&T and Soba Construction. Each company offers around 20 positions for each department. The highest salary package is around 2 LPA, and the average salary package is around 1.5 LPA. Around 30% of students get placements in each batch. My plan after getting the degree is to get admission in higher studies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are available. We have a separate library building block, and each department has its own library. We have government hostels for both boys and girls. The quality of food is good and cheap. We have a football ground and a basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. To get industry-ready, we can do internships. The semester exams are easy. The semester exams are conducted every six months. The total course duration is four years.

Autonomous colleges are better than colleges following the KTU syllabus.
Placements: The placement opportunities offered by our college are very good. Around 50% of students are placed in every passing batch. The highest salary package is around 2 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA, and the average is around 1.5 LPA in our course. Top companies offering placements are L&T, Tata, and Shobha Construction. Around 85% of students are getting internship offers in each batch, and the companies are Cochin Shipyard, L&T, FACT, and Apollo Tyres. The placement cell provides a better environment for students to get a job in the core field itself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is poor. The condition of the electronic gadgets is bad because they don't have proper maintenance. Hostels sometimes have problems with the water because channels are not maintained properly. But the hostels give us a peaceful ambiance. The college is situated on almost 86 acres of land, and each department is situated at a distance of minimum 500M.
Faculty: Teachers are well-dedicated and strict. They are very helpful to the students. They are well-dedicated to completing their portions in time, and they almost do it. Exams are conducted on time. Internal exams are conducted every month to check the understanding of students.

RIT campus is very good and has a beautiful environment for studying.
Placements: About 75% of the students are placed in a year. Tata and Bosch are the leading companies offering jobs to the students. Various types of jobs are offered by them. When we look at the internship percentage, we can find that almost all the students get appropriate internships at the relevant time.
Infrastructure: The hostel has almost all the facilities like water, electricity, etc. There is no water scarcity even on summer days as the college owns more than four wells for water distribution. There are more than two permanent workers to avoid situations like water scarcity in the hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly in nature. They are willing to interact with their students at any time. All the faculty members are well-qualified, and most of them are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching quality is comparable. Most of them are pass-outs from IITs and NITs.
