KJSAC: worth the social life.

Placements: There are not any placement opportunities for BA students. Students can independently get their job and can sharpen their skills. Students can continue their further studies or get their career started by working on their skills and extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure: I can not say much about hostel as I am not living there but as for classes, I think the infrastructure is good and satisfactory. Somaiya has the biggest campus with various different colleges in it, each specializing in their own. There are 6-7 canteens on campus with good quality food.

Faculty: BA History department teaching faculty was really great. They helped each and every student; they made it easier and more approachable for students to keep their own thoughts and ideologies upfront. Teaching faculty were really friendly; there are 2 semesters each year with a question bank provided; if the students have studied, they can easily pass it.

Other: I was really interested in humanities and our teaching staff was really good and friendly. Somaiya has the biggest campus and best social life; there are fests and events going on year-round.

Actually it's a very good college with a good campus and good canteen with good infrastructure .

Placements: Above 80 percentage of students were placed in my course. About 60 percent of students got the internship. There are many other courses where the candidates have gotten the placement for different courses and there are different types of internships provided by the courses .

Infrastructure: It's a very good college in the first place. The facilities provided by the college is so good and the teaching staff are also good and specially the campus is so huge. I like the library facility so much because whenever you sit in a girls reading room, you feel so much at peace.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and they also help students in their studies whenever they are struggling to manage with their studies. They also fastly finish off with their syllabus right well in time and in a way the students would understand it .

Other: I chose arts as my course because in arts you get to explore things more.

One of the best college with an excellent library and canteen.

Placements: Somaiya College for Arts and Commerce do not offer placements for graduates. Therefor, the committee is now starting to plan about providing jobs. For Masters students, campus interviews are held. Also they send students emails regarding vacancies. But the college needs a lot improvement in this area.

Infrastructure: The classrooms, washrooms, and labs are good and clean. Canteens have awesome service and serves tasty food. Quality of food is also great. Also mess facility is available. Infrastructure is awesome. Clerical staff is not so good. Clerical work takes more time than usual.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and supportive. Course structure is also relevant and gets updated every year. It includes a lot of practical knowledge. Exams are held time to time.

Other: College events are worth attending. Campus environment is very soothing. College gives scholarship every year to the students who are economically poor. College inspires students to take part in extracurricular activities.

My journey to be a graduate I have evolved in this college.

Placements: Placements take place but are not known to many students, they should be well known to almost all the students. There were fewer options for internships as known to me thus, this area should be enhanced and worked upon. Rest the college is very good and gives proper exposure.

Infrastructure: The hostel is well-equipped, the fee structure is well structured and students can reach out to the concerned authorities to know more about the process. The college encourages sports, hence, conducts timely tournaments to ensure proper training to the students under expert coaches.

Faculty: The faculty is really helpful and well educated, they encourage speaking in English and help students develop a habit to be in discipline. The curriculum is relevant and the way teachers teach is also innovative. Semester exams are based on students' evaluation.

Other: Ever since my childhood, I was a keen learner and liked English as a subject.

Review of K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce.

Placements: Since we were B.A. students majority of students were placed for content writer's posts. Nearly 55% of students got internship opportunities. The package and salary depend on the quality of your work. Getting recruitment post covid has become a little difficult but Kj Somaiya makes sure that they offer internships to the maximum number of students.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top-notch. The entire campus has a lot of greenery around. The hostel provides a lot of facilities including Wi-Fi, Food mess, laundry, gym, parking space, etc. All and all the entire Somaiya campus provides fees justified facilities to the students.

Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified and skilled. The majority of professors have a Ph.D. and they go over and beyond to explain the concept. The curriculum is set in such a way that it doesn't seem hectic to the students as well as teachers. The semesters have enough gap between them and professors make the concept very easier so it is not that difficult to score good marks.

Other: The course that I chose was my desired field and I am happy because my skills got polished after joining the same. Our college held many fests throughout the year and the fests, and the cultural activities add life and enthusiasm to the campus.
