Review of K.M.M. College of Arts and Science.

Placements: Students become eligible for placements in their fifth semester. Our college offers the best opportunities for job placements. Jobs in Infosys and the banking sector offered here are two of the most important businesses. The majority of IT organisations will hire you if you complete this course. Our college provides placements for this course. We can expect to get the lowest salary of Rs. 20,000 per month and the highest salary of 2 lacs per month. We got excellent placement assistance, and the faculty members instructed us in a variety of areas, including how to write a CV and which certification programmes we should attend as well as how to choose a job.

Infrastructure: This college has computer IT labs that have all software and a huge number of PCs. Two CCTV cameras are installed in our classroom. Any student can become a member of the library in our college. Our college has a canteen with affordable prices. There is a variety of sports such as football, cricket and others. Moreover, there is a good hostel. Our college has a tiny library, but it publishes six newspapers each day, among which one in English and another one in Malayalam. Classrooms are similar to classrooms seen in schools. Only a few students were intelligent. Our college did not have a field.

Faculty: The professors here have excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities and a reasonable level of knowledge. Their teaching is of good quality. The student-to-faculty ratio is 45 to 1. Teachers are excellent and extremely helpful. Exams were conducted according to MGU guidelines. Tests were conducted on time. If you perform well, you will be given the maximum number of internals. Exams were hampered by national and regional strikes. The course content is good and includes lab sessions that contain the majority of the programming languages available. The theoretical syllabus is useful, but it is a little out of date. By attending classes of teachers here, I believe that all of them are well-trained and knowledgeable. In the Ernakulam district, it is one of the best colleges. All students are treated with respect by the teachers. Teachers have the ability to comprehend the thoughts of students.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a programmer. My expectations are met by the course curriculum. The two-semester study of mathematics and English must be eliminated. Extracurricular activities are organised here such as college fests, festivals, games and sports, in addition to the academic curriculum. A fest was held in the previous semester. A variety of activities were conducted, but financing was limited. There are many groups here, and we once raised funds for an old-age home. Kerala is known for its cultural festivals. Our university arranges a fantastic cultural programme.

It has decent faculty, nice placements and great infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has a decent placement cell which has provided placements to many students. The average package offered was 1.5 Lacs per annum. The highest package obtained was 15 Lacs per annum, and the lowest one was around 1.2 Lacs per annum. Students have secured jobs in various posts like HR, system admin, network administrator, software development, web designing etc.

Infrastructure: The college has a decently built infrastructure with great lab facilities. The labs do have a good internet connection with Wi-Fi support. The classrooms are spacious, and the libraries have a lot of books available, both academic and non-academic varieties. The college hostel is clean, and the college canteen provides good food at a decent amount. Basic medical facilities are available. Sports events, which include football, cricket, basketball, and athletics are conducted every year.

Faculty: The teachers have great interpersonal skills, great communication skills and decent knowledge. The quality of teaching is fine. The course curriculum is good and covers most of the available programming languages with lab sessions. The theoretical part is relevant but is slightly outdated.

Other: I chose this course due to my passion for becoming a programmer. The course curriculum fits my requirements. Apart from the academic curriculum, there are extracurricular activities like college fests, events, games, sports etc. The college is well connected with public transport, has a bus stop nearby and is near a shopping mall. It has many food outlets and hotels nearby. The campus crowd is nice. The faculty could have been more experienced, and the context of the course should be a little more updated.

Best college for all type of students. Easily affordable. Students can enjoy the college life.

Placements: 34 students are there in my class. Mathematics is one of the subject which is difficult. Mathematics exist only for 2 semester. We can get job easily by studying this course. Now I am studying first year. Most of the IT companies offer jobs by studying this course. This course provides placement from our college. We can get a salary of 20,000 as minimum and 2 Lacs as Maximum.

Infrastructure: This college provides computer IT labs with all software installed and many computers. Our classroom contains two cctv camera. Our college has a library in which any one can take membership. Our college has a canteen which has low prices and has selection for all sports like football, cricket, etc.

Faculty: By attending their teaching I think all teachers are well qualified and there are knowledgeable. It is one of the most better college in the Ernakulam district. Teachers are friendly with all students. They are able to understand the mind of students.

Other: I choose this course because it is branch of Science. The best thing of this course is coding. The study of mathematics and English which exist for 2 semester must be removed. Our college has all courses fest. We have scholarship for lower caste students. The campus is Awesome. We have 2 blocks. 1 for 2,3 years and also for PG Students. 1 for 1 year students.

If you want to enjoy your college days, you have to be a hosteller.

Placements: There was no campus interview for us. I hope future students will get interviews. I heard that one person from BCA has an interview. We didn't even have an interview. He also went to Bangalore for the job and just stopped working there because of the low salary and worse working conditions.

Infrastructure: The college doesn't have its own hostel, but the college owns some buildings, and there are private hostels in the area. You can first join any hostel you want; after a few days, you can move to any hostel you like in no time. Some awesome seniors can help you.

Faculty: The exams and curriculum are good because of MGU, but the faculty members have to be more experienced. Even if I said the curriculum is good, it lacks practical knowledge. You can have all the definitions or ideas with you, or you will get to know about how an application or software is developed, but you have to work a lot or seek other sources of information to understand how a line of code is converted to an application.

Other: The only thing this college has in its favor is its location; otherwise, it is the worst college to be in. The timing of the college is good from the point of view of the students, but as it is owned by a person, he has a low value towards girls, and everyone has different views on different things, which can frustrate us towards the management.
