Placements: Placements are provided to about 85% of students. Internships are given to 90% of students. The highest package is about 45 LPA, the average is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is about 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, and Deloitte. Internship companies are Google, Adobe, and EY. Top roles are SDE, Data Analyst, Consultant, and PM.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are well-maintained and comfortable. The mess serves nutritious home-style meals, though the variety is somewhat limited. Canteens offer convenient quick snacks. There is a campus clinic, with a resident doctor who handles minor health issues. Sports facilities include a gym, indoor games, and outdoor games.
Faculty: KIT has experienced and supportive faculty and an industry-relevant curriculum blending theory and practice. Exams are fair yet challenging, and most students pass with ease thanks to strong teaching quality, guidance, continuous learning, feedback, and extra help. The overall teaching quality is good.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Our college, Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology, has seen placements for roughly 85-90 percent with recruitment coming from well-known companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. Their roles include data analysis, Python development, and machine learning engineering. Our starting salaries ranged from 6 to 6.5 Lakhs per annum, and the maximum salary we received was 52 Lakhs per annum. Some students also obtained internships with well-known companies, including TCS, Zoho, Infosys, and Cognizant, as well as several AI-focused startups. We had a 70-80% success rate in this area.
Infrastructure: The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) department at KIIT is well-equipped with excellent infrastructure and facilities. We have advanced computer labs with high-speed internet and GPU enabled systems for machine learning and deep learning projects. The campus provides 24/7 Wi-Fi access, modern SMART classrooms with projectors and well-stocked central libraries and vast collection of technical books, research journals, and digital resources. The hostel facilities are comfortable and well-maintained. The rooms are clean, the food served in the mess is hygienic and well-balanced, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available in the canteen. We also have excellent medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified, supportive and knowledgeable. Most have them hold advanced degrees and have strong expertise in their subjects. They are always approachable for doubts and guidance, both in academics and career-related matters. The curriculum is highly relevant and designed to align with current industry standards. The semester exams are fair and manageable if we stay consistent with our studies. The pass percentage is quite high, typically around 90% or more, thanks to supportive faculty.
Other: This college, the Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology (KIIT), is well connected to the city and is easily accessible by road, bus, and other transport. They also offer a variety of academic scholarships. As far as the AIML course itself, I was motivated to study this because of my passion for problem-solving and technology. The best part of this course is all the hands-on projects and real-world experience you get. The AIML course is very good, but I think there are areas that could be improved to make it even better.

Good placements in 2025. But bad in infrastructure and mess food.
Placements: Literally 50% of the students are being placed. The remaining are not placed maybe because of their history of arrears or some other reason. The highest package is 52 LPA, and the lowest salary is 6 LPA to 9 LPA. Autodesk and Hashai are the top recruiting companies. Mostly 95% of students get internships because it is mandatory. So in the 3rd year, they somehow managed to get an intern. The rest of the students are being tried for it, and do something not sure about it. I am not sure about the roles they are placed maybe like software engineers.
Infrastructure: To talk about facilities in the class. There are smart TVs and interactive sessions conducted most of the time. We have Wi-Fi all the time. Library is a good aesthetic place for pics. The overview may be good but not the others like hostel is not that good to say. But have both non-AC and AC hostels separately. Mess and canteen foods are sometimes horrible but it is good most of the time. Sports and games support from college is good enough to participate and go somewhere out for it.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly qualified ones like and most of them have doctorates. They finished their Ph.D. in some good colleges. Even their teaching quality is so good. Our curriculum is sometimes tough and not relevant to the course as it is the first year we need to learn all the basics of other courses. Semester exams are not that tough if you study. Mostly the pass mark is like getting about 50 or something, not sure about that.
Other: This course is the main one in the next few years. Just thought of taking it so it could lead me to a good job and life. I need no change in the course and all but maybe in facilities they could change something. We will have 2 to 3 cultural events per year including annual day. Campus crowd is not as much as scheduled in a different manner, we don't gather together often. There are more scholarships for students like caste, marks, and something else.

A best place to upgrade skills for a better future for engineering students.
Placements: The CSE department has great job opportunities for students who complete the course. The placement rate is between 90% and 95%. The average package is 8 LPA, while the highest package is 52 LPA. In the batch of 2023 to 2027, there were 60 students. The lowest starting package ranges from 3-6 LPA. Our graduating students secured positions at Hash-AI, Just-Pay, Amazon, Autodesk, and Aroopa. They worked as Software Developers, Software Engineers, Design Engineers, and UI Designers.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms have great equipment and tools, like digital boards, projectors, and audio systems. We have plenty of classroom and meeting space. Our auditorium can hold 5,000 people and even has air conditioning. We have a large outdoor area for playing fields and events. Our hostel has 24/7 electricity, AC, and clean water. Each dorm room has a study area. The hostel facilities include a laundry, dining area, and kitchen.
Faculty: Teachers are very gentle with students and clarify doubts more than once time so we can ask doubts without any hesitation and shyness. Teachers provide full support to enhance students' performance every day, for each student separately, without partiality. This course is preparing me for my dream job with hands-on training in each semester. The exams are not too tough because it's easy with the teachers' support. They encourage students with his/her interests as well. Teachers can teach until it's clear for every student to gain knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because machine learning is starting to boom in the teaching world, and I am interested in updating my knowledge in technologies. The curriculum is up-to-date on current technologies that are being used in major companies. The college is very happy with the Pongal festival and we are all very happy sharing in its happiness. There are scholarships that are awarded based on marks, as well as various other scholarships.

Great placements and hands-on learning with excellent infrastructure and events.
Placements: Placement percentage was 70-90%. Placement companies included TCS, Autodesk, Cognizant, Hashai, and Infosys. 100% of students had internships. Internships were not paid. There was only one on-campus internship. 98% of internships were in the student’s preferred industry. The highest salary was 40-60 LPA, while the lowest package was 3-6 LPA. The average package was 10 LPA. The average package for internships was 6 LPA. The highest package for internships was 12 LPA, while the lowest was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college campus has high-speed Wi-Fi available to students. Classrooms are great and have an interactive whiteboard. There are laboratories for CSE, EEE, ECE, MECH, and Biotech. The campus also has facilities for various sports like football, handball, kabaddi, and more.
Faculty: Teachers have industry experience or a Ph.D. or M.Tech. They are willing to assist students with doubts. This curriculum was designed to offer industry-relevant courses. The semester exams can be challenging. Good preparation and an understanding of both theoretical and practical concepts are essential. The pass percentage is around 70% to 90%.
Other: Students choose courses at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology due to the 100% placement and knowledge. The best include hands-on labs and good internships. Events / Fests like Techno Fest or cultural Fest expose students’ talents.
