I'm yet to explore the college more to give it a short headline that summarizes it.
Placements: As a second-semester student, I am not well-versed with the current year's placement percentage, but a good pool of companies come in order to give jobs and internships. Just a few months back, a career fair also took place where students could interview for the same.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure can improve a lot. My department has a strength of 72, and no sections are divided. The chairs and tables fall short in the class. No air conditioning in classes and the library. The library is peaceful but way too hot during the summer. Wi-Fi is provided and works well on the ground and first floors of the building.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified and teach well. The curriculum is up to date, but I think it lacks the content that is needed in the real-life job environment. The exams are not that hard, but time management is a component that matters during the examination.
Other: I chose the course because I wanted a degree related to my field. The college can induce some hands-on and practical activities that make us ready for the job environment. Events do take place every other day, something is happening in the college. Connectivity is also good, the college is on the main road. For extracurricular activities, we have societies that keep on organizing some or the other event.

Comfortable campus, experienced faculty, and an overall satisfying academic experience.
Placements: Placements for B.Com (Hons) at Kamala Nehru College are fairly good for a regular DU college. Around 60 to 70 percent of students who actively apply through the placement cell manage to secure placements or internships. The highest package usually goes up to around 7- 8 LPA, the lowest is around 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA, and the average is about 4- 5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Wipro, and several start-ups visit the campus. Many students also get internships in finance, marketing, and consulting roles. The placement cell is supportive, but proactive students achieve better results.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Kamala Nehru College is simple but comfortable for everyday academic use. Classrooms are clean, airy, and equipped with basic facilities like projectors and fans. The library does not have air conditioning, but it has fans and coolers and stays quiet enough to study peacefully. The Wi-Fi works most of the time, though the speed can vary. The college does not provide a hostel, so students usually stay in PGs and flats in nearby areas like Siri Fort and Kailash Colony. The canteen is affordable and popular, and the overall campus environment feels safe, green, and welcoming.
Faculty: The faculty for B.Com (Hons) at Kamala Nehru College is experienced and generally very supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly, use real examples in class, and are approachable after lectures for doubts. The curriculum is the standard DU structure, which is quite relevant and covers finance, accounting, marketing, and economics well enough to prepare students for internships and placements. Semester exams are manageable if you stay consistent, though internal assessment and attendance can get stressful at times. The overall pass percentage is high because teachers genuinely help students understand the syllabus instead of just making them memorise.
Other: The crowd at Kamala Nehru College is friendly, confident, and welcoming, with students from many different backgrounds. The campus has a peaceful vibe with a lot of greenery and feels safe throughout the day. Events and fests are quite active, especially department fests, cultural functions, and society activities. Societies like dance, drama, fashion, and debating are very popular and give you many opportunities to participate. The canteen and Nescafé area are always lively spots to hang out with friends. Since it is a South Campus college, connectivity to the metro station and nearby markets is easy. Overall, campus life is enjoyable.

The infrastructure is good and worth studying.
Placements: A high number of students get placement every year. They provide a lot of skills and certificates to improve your CV. A major society is being made to pay more attention to the placement, which helps a lot, and many companies offer their placements every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Medical facilities are available, and a different medical room is provided with a female doctor. And sports and games are active, as many inter-college and inter-departmental competitions take place. Canteen food is good at a reasonable price with a variety.
Faculty: The faculty is good at helping us to explore the course deeply and in an easy way. Presentations are done to boost confidence. Every topic is dictated very clearly and also provides notes, which help in exams and internals. A weekly PPT presentation is also done for summarising the topic.
Other: The infrastructure is good and worth studying. In my course, there is a visit to historical places to explore the events and archaeological aspects.

Satisfaction about the placement.
Placements: The college placement cell provides regular information about internships and placement opportunities. About 40 percent of students get an internship or placement. In my course, no proper roles are offered; they are mostly for commerce-related courses, but they are open to all courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but quite old. They do not provide air conditioning in classrooms, but some labs are well maintained and air-conditioned. The library, according to me, is really good and provides a wide range of books. Wi-Fi speed varies across the campus. Canteen food is good, but sometimes it does not meet expectations. The food is cheap and affordable, and they also have Nescafe and Amul outlets. Hostel facilities are not provided. I would appreciate their action towards hostel facilities, as accommodation around here is very costly, around 2 Lacs per year.
Faculty: The faculty is really helpful and knowledgeable, and they are serious about studies. My course is good, but it does not make you industry-ready as it lacks fieldwork. Only one field trip is offered in the 3rd year. Semester exams are not very difficult, but you still have to study. The college is strict about attendance and CGPA, you should maintain at least a good CGPA of 6–7.
Other: My course is good but can be improved by introducing more field-related work. Students here are serious about their studies and also participate actively in extracurricular activities. Events and fests are good and fun. The campus is small but full of greenery.

KNC - Where academics meet opportunity.
Placements: The highest package goes around 7 LPA-8 LPA. Mostly B.Com and Economics students got placement, but other courses also have higher placement opportunities. Political Science students' internships are mostly in policy-making, like think tanks, Niti Aayog, and public administrative roles.
Infrastructure: The college has computer labs, a canteen, a medical room with the availability of a doctor, and Wi-Fi facilities all over the college. Classes are smart rooms and have a large seating capacity in the library. The college doesn't have a hostel or a mess. But it has a great canteen with good quality food at a reasonable rate.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students ready for policy-making and other administrative work. Semester exams are of a moderate to hard level. The exams are a total of 160 marks in the core subject and have vac, sec, and ge also. Written exams are of 90 marks, with 70 marks of IA and CA.

Honest review by a KNC Student.
Placements: Rarely people from the Psychology Department get placed in our college. Getting a placement is only beneficial for Journalism and Commerce students in our college. Rest, our college is great in terms of education, but not every department gets a placement.
Infrastructure: Sometimes, we need to sit outside the class because there are not enough chairs in every classroom. A few fans in some departments don't work. The infrastructure is getting better, but still it will take time, to be honest. Wi-Fi is available now; earlier it wasn't available to us everywhere in college. The library can be better because the roof can fall over us anytime soon. There is no hostel facility in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable (if only you pay attention in the class, you'll get to know that). Semester exams are quite easy, depending on your level of preparation. Some of the teachers are great and some of them are truly a headache. But, honesty, I won't say it's the best college for knowledge, I mean there can be more colleges that are actually good. But our college is kind of fine if you need education in Delhi University in this field.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to study Psychology. The only thing that gets me mad about my course is the number of assignments and practicals. The fest of our college is good, but the management is not.
