It is the temple which brings out an extraordinary engineer from an ordinary student.

Placements: The institution provides placements to students as a primary responsibility. They not only bring recruiters to the campus but also provide special placement training to the students in order to make them competent enough for placements and to match the frequency of students with industry. Several reputed MNCs like HP, HCL, Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini and core companies like Bosch, Maruti Suzuki, Eicher, Royal Enfield, Air India, and Indigo are the campus recruiters.

Infrastructure: The department of automobile engineering is known for its infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious, less dense and fully digitalized. Laboratories are sophisticated with the latest equipment coping up the industry and curriculum. There is a separate department library, including all academic textbooks, international and national journals, auto magazines etc. They provide wonderful accommodation to the students. Hostel rooms are spacious enough and decent. The vicinity is full of greenery and has a peaceful atmosphere for students. Food is delicious and hygienic with a versatile daily menu. Gym, playground, hospital, ATM, canteens, and markets are available on the campus itself.

Faculty: Academics are the strength of the automobile department. The faculty members are highly qualified, experienced and have immense knowledge. They are student-friendly and motivate them in all ways. They interact and guide us accordingly and show us the suitable path. They adopt special teaching methods to strengthen the basic concepts and to incorporate relative practical and theoretical knowledge in the students. The course curriculum is industry-oriented and relevant to the updating automotive industry. They teach what is in the industry directly. Both the theory and practicals go hand-in-hand. Direct hands-on training in the curriculum is advantageous to the students. The course is full-fledged with projects, mini-projects, internships, patents etc. At the end of the course, students become well versed in the subject and fit for the industry.

Other: Since my childhood, I am very fascinated by vehicles. That apatite towards knowledge of vehicles and technology in them made me opt for this course. The best thing about the course is you will love what you are learning. It is really a boon for the automotive enthusiasts to study this particular course and in this college. You have plenty of employment opportunities in the growing automotive field across the world. Apart from academics, the campus is also known for its extracurricular activities. Department Symposiums occur twice a year, along with that annual college day, events on special occasions, various fests for Onam, Sankranti, Diwali are celebrated on a large scale. Fine arts club awakens the recreational skills of students like singing, dancing etc. Gym, sports clubs, department of physical education facilitates students to be fit. The campus is vast and less dense, and it is full of greenery and provides utmost peace. Connectivity is not at all a problem as the campus is situated in between Pollachi highway and Palakkad highway.

Students can create, enjoy and destroy what they perceive.

Placements: In our course, about 10% of the students got placed because many of our classmates have either arrears or a history of arrears. There were no core companies visiting during our academic year since we were the first batch of the automobile. However, many IT companies such as CTS, Zoho and Odessa Tech came for campus interviews.

Infrastructure: The hostel and food for the first year were good, but the senior hostels were average. Medical facilities and sports facilities were good, but the canteen was below average. The library is good, and the automobile lab is also good for learning. There are many hotels and shops within a 2-kilometre radius so that everything can be bought.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and qualified, but all of them were not well-knowledgeable. During our time, the course was affiliated with Anna University, and the courses were old and not industry-relevant. However, now the college has gained the autonomous cadre, and hence now courses are relevant.

Other: There is more enjoyment than studies in this institution, and there are many fests and cultural events.

It is good to study at this institute.

Placements: I got placed in Tech Mahindra with a salary package of 6 LPA. Academically average students can get placed in good companies with the highest salary packages. The automobile department has good labs and highly educated professors, which is useful for students.

Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure with automobile labs. There is an assembly section of the engine where students can gain hands-on experience. Students can be able to get trained by themselves. During lab sessions, students get an opportunity to train up by themselves. The hostel in this institution is good with a separate room for each student. The food quality is also good.

Faculty: Our college is under Anna University. Faculty members here have good knowledge. Faculty members support a lot for students in case of academics.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the good placements provided.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies like Wabco and Sakura Autoparts recruit students from here. About 60% of students got internships. Roles are offered in production, maintenance, quality and inspection.

Infrastructure: There is an excellent infrastructure. Well-equipped labs, classrooms and a library are available in our department. The quality of food served is very hygienic. Medical facilities are available, and our college gives importance to sports as well.

Faculty: Faculty members are well experienced and have more than 10 years of experience. They are knowledgeable and also very helpful. They clear our doubts anytime, and they led us to spend our four years in a good way. They are very friendly. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for industry.

Other: I am interested in automobiles, so I chose this course. I learned a lot from this course. Campus surroundings and everything are good.

Placements: In my batch, 79% of students got placed in top companies with good salary packages. The recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Tata Motors, Chola Insurance, Go Speedy Go etc. The roles offered are design engineer, vehicle value accessor etc. 27% of students got internships. The maximum package offered is 6 Lacs per annum, and the minimum package is 3.5 Lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and all the facilities. The classrooms are equipped with projectors. The library has lots of books to gain in-depth knowledge of the course, and e-books are also available. The hostel and mess are neat and clean. The atmosphere is good.

Faculty: The teachers are good, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is good for students to learn the concepts. The teachers have industry knowledge as well. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good. The students are made industry-ready.

Placements: An average of 79% of students have been placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was about 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies here are TCS, Wipro, Tata Motors, Go Speedy Go, Chola Insurance and other few companies. About 27% of students did internships related to our course in Hero Electric, Yamaha, Ambal Auto, Royal Enfield and some other leading companies. Top roles offered in our course are design engineer, vehicle value accessor and some other leading posts.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was excellent with a calm and green atmosphere which refreshes students minds for fine learning. We are also provided with a digital library with adequate books for reference. We have been educated in the presence of smart classrooms. Circumstances of the hostel were pretty good to stay with excellent facilities such as food, medical facilities, sports, etc.

Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, which helps to understand the subjects in an easy manner. This course is absolutely related to the curriculum. Due to the advanced laboratory facilities, it makes students ready for industries effectively.

Other: Since the automobile is the base for every aspect of our daily life, recent developments and researches made me to admire this course. Recent technologies should be incorporated in this course for future purposes. All extracurricular activities such as fests and events have been conducted periodically. Our college provides good scholarship facilities also.

It has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The average package offered to the students is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 3.2 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, KGISL, and Wipro are the recruiting companies. System engineer and programmer are the roles offered by the companies.

Infrastructure: I chose this college mainly because of its lab facilities. All the equipment and every part of the vehicle is available in my laboratory. There are a library and lab facilities. The quality of food is good. The college encourages students to participate in all the games. There are football, volleyball, Kho, cricket, handball, badminton and athletics. An AC gym and non-AC gym are also available.

Faculty: The teachers in our institution are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. They are very friendly and help us with maximum effort. The curriculum makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I love bikes and cars, and I want to gain in-depth knowledge of vehicles. So, I chose this course. The best thing is that we use vehicles a lot. There are lots of cultural activities and events in our college. Students allowed to participate in the fests of other colleges also. Scholarships are provided every year.

The college provides full freedom, excellent quality of education and infrastructure.

Placements: In HIT, they have arranged the lots of campus interviews from reputed companies like TCS, CTS, Bosch, etc., for their students. They also provided the placement training before the campus interviews. But the bad thing is that automobile core companies don't conduct campus interviews in this college. However, students from automobile engineering were also eligible to attend the campus interviews.

Infrastructure: HIT has a modern infrastructure, and it consists of well-equipped laboratory for automobile, mechanical, ECE, CSE and aeronautical departments. Classrooms are well ventilated and well-maintained. The college has two cafeterias, and separate hostels for boys and girls and seniors and junior students. They offered three types of rooms like non-deluxe, deluxe and air-conditioned rooms. There were also football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and hockey grounds, a gym, and two ATMs were available.

Faculty: Hindusthan Institute of Technology was affiliated under the Anna University. Especially the automobile department has experienced professors and assistant professors. They motivate their students to score, and they also encourage to participate in competitions like Go-kart racing and dirt bike racing. They provide a good quality of studying materials to the students.

Other: They organised a lot of events such as dirt bike racing, conferences and workshops.
