MAHE Manipal awards merit scholarship for the following Post Graduate (PG) and Super Speciality (SS) programs
Fee waiver
- For all the MD programs except MD in Pharmacology : 35% of course fee
- For MD in Pharmacology: 50% of course fee
- For DM Critical Care Medicine, DM Infectious Diseases, DM Medical Oncology: 50% of course fee
- For DM Neurology: 35% of course fee
- For DM Medical Genetics: 10% of course fee
- For DM Gastroenterology, DM Nephrology: 25% of course fee
- For MCh Cardiothoracic Surgery, MCh Hand Surgery, MCh Neuro Surgery, MCh Paediatric Orthopaedics, MCh Paediatric Surger: 50% of course fee
- For MCh Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, MCh Reproductive Medicine and Surgery: 35% of course fee
Kalam-Pai, Freeship and Scholars Scholarship for MBBS:
The scholarship seats taken together is limited to 5% of the general category intake thta is 11 for MBBS.

Kalam-Pai Scholarship involves 100% waiver of Course fee and Hostel fee.
Freeship Scholarship involves 100% waiver of the course fee payable.
Scholar scholarship involves 50% waiver of the Course fee.

The final step of Kasturba Medical college application process is to pay the application fees. The application fees charged by the institute is different for General and Foreign or NRI candidates. General category candidates who want to seek admission in any of the programme must pay Kasturba Medical College application fees of INR 600 (INR 2,500 for Foreign/NRI/ NRI sponsored category candidates) for all courses. The institute may ask candidates to pay INR 1,400 as an entrance test fees for selected courses.
The total tuition fee for the MBBS is INR 44 lakh. This fee is exclusive of various charges such as admission fee, application fee, and several other fee components. If students find the fee very high worry not these students can apply for the scholarships provided by the college. The students must apply early for the scholarships as there are limited scholarships provided to students.

Placements: After successful completion of a Bachelor's in Medicine, I would like to do a Master's in Psychiatry, while looking for its future scope. The college got integrated with various MNC hospitals and rehabilitation centres for placement focus. After completing training, we got hired, with the best package being 20.5 LPA.
Placements: During the training period, we were able to know our potential to implement the knowledge we gained throughout the course. Such training records were helpful to continue our career in various reputed hospitals. GSK, Eric Life Sciences, and Abbott were some renowned recruiters.
Placements: MD pharmacology students got placed in various top hospitals and research institutions. Mostly, during internships students were paid with the minimum stipend of Rs 30,000 per month. Indian Institute of Chemical Biology Parexel and NIPER were some of the recruiters of KMC, Manipal.
Placements: Batch strength: 250 I have not passed out yet but according to my knowledge and some seniors, most of the students don't go for placement; they either do NEET PG or foreign entrance examinations like USMLE and PLAB. Few who wants to work in hospital get recruited easily. The package range is 1-2 lacs monthly.
Placements: It's a MBBS course, so no such placement is there after an internship in which you get a stipend of 30,000, you give the NEET PG exam, and then if you are successful, you go for higher studies. People here give the USMLE exam as well as the PLAB and other licensing exams, though teaching is very good here.
Placements: So in medical, there is no system of placements as such, but everyone is required to do a one-year internship in Kasturba Hospital itself. The stipend given is 30,000, and anyone who has passed the final year will be eligible for the internship. It is done in all departments of the hospital over the course of one year. The college gives you an extended period of another year to complete 365 days.
