CUET UG is compulsory for admission in the affiliated colleges of University of Delhi for UG courses. Delhi University introduced admissions through CUET scores  for candidates who seek admission.

Candidates will not be granted admission on the basis of merit of Class 12 There are some percentage criteria required to appear for the CUET exam for Class 12 candidates which is given below:

• Students must have passed Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 from a recognized board in any stream to take admission to bachelor's degree programmes in the central, state, private or deemed universities.
• For the General category, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50% in Class 12; for SC/ST, candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12 to be eligible for the CUET exam. For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.

Morever, candidates who wish to apply for Delhi University must have a valid score in CUET. Undergraduate courses including BCom, BTech, BA, BSc and more are offered by the affiliated colleges.

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Candidates willing to appear for CUET exam must ensure to fill out the application form online when released. DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. DU registrations via CUET 2023 for UG programmes began on Feb 10, 2023 and were open till Mar 30, 2023. Additionally, for admission to PG courses, DU CUET-PG registrations for the 2023 session started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested candidates were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG.

Followed by the application forms of CUET UG and CUET PG, DU has already started the DU CSAS registration for final college and course allotment of students who qualified the CUET UG exam. The process will begin soon for CUET PG qualifiers as well.

The number of students placed during the DU placements 2026 are not out yet. However, so far 1095 SRCC students were placed in the 2026 placement season. Additionally, the number of offers provided to Hansraj and LSR students was 130 and more than 160. 

Yes, you can get into DU with a score of 500 in CUET UG. For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff varied from 306.25 to 747.87 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science course. Hence, check the table below to know which colleges are available with the attained score.

Yes, it is possible to get in DU without CUET. However, this is not applicable for traditional regular UG courses. For most programmes, the university asks for CUET UG or CUET PG score. For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out.
