Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) - Batch of 2028
Offered by College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi
4.2
Satisfied with the great campus life.
Placements: For the batch of 2023 of BMS, around 60-70% students are placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package range between 4.5 LPA and 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Genpact, Wipro, ICICI Bank, and a few growing startups. Around 70-80% secured internships in finance and marketing. The major roles included Business Analyst, Marketing Executive, HR Executive, etc.
Infrastructure: The department has basic classrooms with Wi-Fi facility and a library with academic resources, though there are no dedicated Python classes in the Computer Lab. Rooms in the old building are poorly maintained and quite dark. Rooms of SNB do not have charging points, in some rooms, they are there but do not work. The major problem is that the college does not have projectors.
Faculty: The BMS faculty is qualified, supportive, and teaches with practical examples. The curriculum is relevant and provides a basic foundation for industry readiness. Semester exams are moderately challenging, and the pass percentage is generally average.
Other: BMS offers real-life exposure and hands-on experience in management fields. Campus life is very vibrant, and the campus is surrounded by greenery.

Great placements and future opportunities, and must join.
Placements: College has 100% placement rate. The highest salary was 29 LPA last year. The average salary is around 13 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BCG, Brain, and Trinity. Only some students get internships though but from good companies like Brain, ABinBev, and McKinsey. Top roles offered in consulting, finance, research, and product-based.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with Wi-Fi availability and good seating arrangements. There is cleanliness, and the buildings are newly built, so they are in good condition. Good library is available as well. The ACs are working in the whole building. The quality of food is good and cheap. There are not many sports facilities, being a small campus.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They have professional degrees and experience in teaching. They are good and teach with passion. The course curriculum is revised frequently to keep up with the requirements of corporate and it does make students ready for practice. The exams are the same for each college as it has a common exam for every college. The exams are not that difficult to pass, so more than 95% of the batches pass each semester.
Other: It has great future opportunities. The college is famous for corporates and MBA institutes. The college also has its fest, Crescendo which is great. Scholarships are also available for needy students.

Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi

It's a great college with strict attendance rules.
Placements: The highest package for my course was around 15-16 lacs and the average package was 5.5 lacs. 40-50% of students got placed, these numbers might be less but most of the students choose higher studies. You might get an internship through college with a stipend of around Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 12,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The whole campus has Wi-Fi but the speed is very low, decent classrooms, a big library, and well-structured computer labs. The canteen is there but the food is not that good, the auditorium and sports facilities are also available. The college doesn't have hostel facilities but you will get a PG or flat nearly but at higher prices.
Faculty: The whole faculty is well qualified but focuses on theoretical knowledge, the teachers are helpful but very strict for the attendance. Regular tests, presentations, and viva are helpful for the evaluation of internal marks. Semester examinations are held and there are no mid-sem exams and that's the best part. It's a 3-year course divided into 6 semesters.
Other: As it is a Delhi University college the crowd is from all over India, you will find students from each state of India but mostly from Delhi, Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, and Haryana. Activities like speeches and debates are conducted by the college societies, and annual fest and departmental fests are also conducted.

    On Highlights
Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for admission to BMS at DU?
    A:

Candidates need a minimum of 60% or more aggregate in the qualifying examination in these four subjects: English, Mathematics and two other main subjects to be eligible for admission. The aspirants must also hold the relevant documents to get a seat in the programme. Students have to submit the relevant documents at the time of admission/form filling.

Q:   What is the last date for DU admission 2026?
    2thumbs up
    A:

Delhi University admission 2026 is open now. The last date to apply for DU PG courses is Jun 7, 2026. For the UG courses, students have to apply through CSAS counselling after CUET results are declared. The last date is tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

Q:   Who is eligible for DU?
    A:

DU eligibility criteria varies with course. However, the basic eligibility requirement for UG courses is Class 12 and a minimum of graduation is required for PG courses. Below is DU eligibility for top courses:

    Popular Courses

    Common Eligibility

    BA (Prog)/ BA (Hons)

    B.El.Ed

    Class 12 with 50% aggregate

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
    A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

I'm satisfied with faculty and infrastructure also.
Placements: Being in Aryabhatta College is a good thing. The course BMS offers practical knowledge and there is a placement cell that organizes placements and offers various internships whether it is on site or part time the companies offers various internships with stipend and certificates also referal certificates.
Infrastructure: Facilities available are nice. There is Wi-Fi, labs, and library available. Overall facilities are top-notch but the only one drawback is their washrooms facilities they can be better by doing some work on them. The events are also nice and the crowd is very nice the seniors are helpful.
Faculty: Faculty members are up to expectations. Teachers are very cooperative. They are very well knowledgeable and qualified, especially the BMS and psychology departments. If you study well in class semester exam will be very easy, if you score well in your internals it will be fine.
Other: I chose this course as it is famous for its BMS department which is true. The best things would be faculty and the subjects taught throughout the years. The events are nice. Campus crowd is very open and friendly. There is also scholarship cell for those who want to avail it and in terms of extracurricular activities the ground is very big and sports supplements are also nice.

Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
    A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

    • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
    • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
    • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
    • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
    • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

Q:   Does the CUET syllabus also include chapters from Class 11?
    A:

No, class 11th subject syllabus is not included in CUET UG exam. Students who are preparing for CUET 2026 exam must focus on class 12th NCERT curriculum. NTA prescribes the CUET UG syllabus on its official website. Candidates must be familar the detailed syllabus mentioned on the NTA CUET official website- cuet.nta.nic.in. No, students can not get direct admission in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies without CUET. The college accepts students for its UG programmes through CUET + CSAS process only. However, for the PG Diploma programme, students are offered merit-based seats and do not require any entrance.
