Khalsa College Amritsar is a great college in Punjab.

Placements: As Khalsa College is the renowned college of Punjab, many companies are visited here to hire the students. During my batch, 20-30% of the students were placed in different sectors. The companies like Infosys, IBM, and Wipro visited to hire the students and provides a good package. There is a placement cell in our college which handle all these things and help the students in getting good jobs. 50-60% of the students got the internship from the college and the average internship stipend provided was Rs. 5,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, as it is a combination of modern and historical things. The building is historical, and labs are fully equipped with modern facilities like A/C and Wi-Fi, etc. Each and every room of the college is well-ventilated and clean. The canteen food is tasty and fresh. I did not face any infrastructure related issue during my stay.

Faculty: Most of the faculty are from the computer science and information technology background. They are well-qualified and experienced. The professors are friendly and very helpful. I don't get any industry exposure there. The teachers are very knowledgeable and guide us regarding our future goals.

Other: The college crowd is very attractive and awesome as there is a big ground in our college. Each and everyone usually roams there during their free time. The campus provides extracurricular activities as I am very fond of Bhangra so I usually join Bhangra classes and performs at the national level. The scholarships are provided by the college to SC, BC students, university toppers, and even class toppers too. University toppers get 100% scholarships. Our college campus has a very big playground from all other colleges in the city.
