One of the best colleges for BAMMC in Mumbai.
Placements: Our head provides us with details about ongoing campaigns and opportunities to work with big companies like The Times of India and others. Our college ensures that everyone gets employed based on their interests and choices. It is compulsory for all students who have passed the second year to complete an internship based on their course in order to continue to the third year.
Infrastructure: Facilities are 10/10. We have air-conditioned classrooms and a library. The food in the canteen is hygienic and tasty. We have Wi-Fi facility available, access to all editing software, and subscriptions to magazines and newspapers, which are helpful for everyone. We have a lift in our college, and everyone is allowed to use it.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained and specialized in subjects they teach us. We get on-field experience as well. They make sure we are exam-ready and conduct various activities to help us understand each topic in detail. Teachers are helpful and always there for us.
Other: Fests in this college are amazing, and it is one of reasons why we all love our college. As I have noticed, our batch students are more visible in lectures than in other activities, which suggests that lectures are more interesting. We have an entirely separate campus for BAMMC, BAFTNMP, IT, and B.Voc students, located in one of the prime locations of Mumbai Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway.

Overall, it is a great college.
Placements: A decent number of internships have been offered by the placement cell of the college from reputed companies, and with a well-paying stipend. There are a lot of sales and social media-related internships. There are only a few internships related to the financial markets.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well-built with air-conditioned classrooms and modern equipment for teaching, such as projectors, big screens, etc. The college maintains cleanliness. It is very well at maintaining their infrastructure. I did not opt for a hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant as it gives us tasks like preparing a presentation and explaining it to teachers on real-life-based scenarios, which makes students ready for corporate life.

The college experience of an undergraduate!
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was nearly about 30 students in the final year of the graduation. There are many good companies which are in contact with our college for placements of students and many of them have also been recruited in the same.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi networks all over the college. The laboratory of each and every department is specific, while the classrooms are provided with adequate infrastructure along with air conditioning. The library of the college is large and open even on Sundays for students to study and has all kinds of references.
Faculty: The professors in KC College are well-qualified and helpful for students and have great knowledge about their domain. The teaching quality is the best. While the semester exams are a bit hard in this college, and the cut-off list is also high for students.

I am absolutely satisfied after getting admission into KC College.
Infrastructure: Our college has been under construction for almost a year now. Half of its renovation is complete. The library was quite a calm place to study, but now it is under repair. Some classrooms have AC. Along with our daily class labs, there is a huge lab on the 6th floor too. Labs are well-equipped with culture media, reagents, glassware, and machines like UV spectrophotometer, laminar air flow, hot air oven, autoclave, and incubators. All are in good condition and undergo routine safety checkups.
Faculty: For B.Sc. Biotechnology, there are 6 semesters, two in each year. The faculty is really helpful, and they guide us through all of it. The teaching skills of teachers and their experience in labs are remarkable. Exams have questions from the reference books the teachers provide, previous year questions (PYQs), and what they teach us in classes. The level of difficulty is easy to medium and not that difficult.
Other: Biology mesmerizes me. I want to know how biology is applied in the present world. Hence, I decided to take biotechnology. The campus crowd is also good, and there are respectful people around me. The events are a great way to socialize with seniors and classmates. The infrastructure is good, with great facilities. I have been in KC College since 11th standard. After junior college, I decided to complete my bachelor's degree in biotechnology at this college. In my FY batch, there are around 40 students. Many events and clubs in our college host fun activities, and we gain credit from them.

Good and very helpful teaching staff.
Placements: There are no college placements for our course. But other courses such as BMS have good placements. If you study further for the same course at the same college, you might get some good placements in good companies. Overall, it is an average experience.
Infrastructure: Facilities are overall good. There is a huge library and a canteen on the campus with good food. There is also a sports room where students can play indoor games. You can play carrom, chess, and table tennis. Medical facilities are also available. Classrooms are well-lit and spacious.
Faculty: The faculty is the best. Very good teaching staaf and good techniques. For my course the pass percent was 98%. The teacher are highly qualified some with a Ph.D. degree. The difficult level is moderate and anyone who is willing to learn can pass with decent marks.

Good college for Microbiology. Please don’t expect any exciting campus life.
Placements: This college has no placement cell as such. However, some departments help students get unpaid internships to gain experience. There are no recruiting companies. For internships, we get placed at Bombay Hospital, Research Centre, and Marine Lines. Which helps us gain experience and focus on the job prospects we are looking for. About 50% of students get internships at Bombay Hospital and Agilus Diagnostics.
Infrastructure: Labs are fairly equipped. However, hygiene is one thing that is missing. There are rats in the lab. AC is there, but just for the namesake. We never see it turned on, not even once. Hostel facilities are not provided by the college or PG. Students have to find on their own. The library is good and has all the books and study materials required for the course. Wi-Fi is not available. The college has a dedicated sports room that is well-equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Most professors who teach us are Ph.D. holders with a strong grip on the subject and more than 15 years of experience. The teaching quality is good, along with presentation and video-based. Semester exams are approximately moderate to difficult. I am not sure of the pass percentage, but I believe it is above 90%. The course curriculum is relevant. However, it does not make you fully industry-ready. It gives you in-depth knowledge in the field and builds a strong foundation for the future.
Other: I chose this course as I find it interesting. It provides in-depth knowledge of things we never thought existed. The department has a Science Code Fest that takes place annually every February and is something to look forward to every time. The campus crowd is just fine, not good, not bad, just average. Scholarships are given to some students by the university, ranging from Rs.10,000 to 2 lakhs. The department also takes us on annual industrial visits, such as to NCCS Pune or Biotech Park in Lucknow.
